Amazing location and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Direct shuttle bus to and forth airport. My room has an amazing view of the whole Tokyo skyline and overlooking SHINJUKU. Equipments all new and well maintained. Would definitely come back next time.

Hotel is right in the heart of Kabukicho district which we loved. Hotel Lobby was on the 18th floor so you are guaranteed a great view for the most part (dependent on which side of hotel you are on). Good size room however bathroom has very little counter space and the lighting over the mirror is not great for putting make-up on. Hotel could upgrade their pillows but all in all a great stay.

Exciting location, compact hotel w amazing views
Hotel Groove Shinjuku is located at the heart of Shinjuku, about 9 mins walk to the train station. It’s an exciting and vibrant area , but be prepared to be hit by massive crowds at most times of the day. Room is small but comfortable. My room on the 35 level has amazing views that you can see far and wide. I love walking up to sun rise on a particularly sunny clear morning. Guest need to take the lift on ground level to 18 floor hotel lobby to get to guest rooms, that can be a hassle. Self service check in is encouraged but I had help from hotel staff. There is hotel shuttle bus at ground level and it can be convenient. But private shuttle service or taxis can be a hassle to pinpoint exact location as no other transport can use the same pick up area. I find that really a downside. The hotel is not at fault just Kabukicho tower’s regulation. Was a pleasant stay but I find Shinjuku too over crowded and overwhelming. Hotel is great just maybe the location is too much to feel relaxed.

Fall Tokyo Visit
Great place to stay right in the heart of shinjuku. Easy to get to and close to a lot of attractions including Nichome (the lgbtq neighborhood). We included breakfast for our stay which was delicious every time. The views of the city are wonderful. The comforter was a little heavy and warm, we only wish there was a top sheet to cover up when it got hot. Our view from the window, you could see so much of Tokyo. Overall an excellent stay!

Lively nightlife location. I thought the room would be nicer and that there would be some perks for $500/night. Room was ok but nothing special. No lounge or anything. The hotel is next to 4 train tracks. Hotel starts on the 18th floor. Another hotel and businesses share the same building. We were on the 22nd floor and still heard the trains. Glad I brought my earplugs. I assume higher floors would be quieter. Had a room with 3 good beds. Staff very helpful by confirming my JAL flight.

Brilliant choice
The Groove Hotel was a fantastic choice. The location is perfect for seeing Tokyo. The reception was efficient, quick and extremely helpful. The views were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable as were the wonderful night shirts provided by the hotel. Strongly recommended and would return.
