Loved it! We stayed on the Godzilla floor, it was wonderful. The staff was very kind and accommodating and the location in Shinjuku city can't be beat!

The property was lovely. Loved my room on the 30th ‘Godzilla’ floor with a great view. It was very convenient in the midst of Shinjuku. Though do wish they had a full on restaurant. Would stay there again.

The little things.

I’ll start by saying in the past this has been my favorite hotel in Tokyo. This last visit was not the usual. The check in is very efficient and friendly. The rooms furniture was was stained and very used. The restaurant has one of the best breakfast buffets ever and this time they just a sparse omelet bar set up in the bar for the same cost. The other kicker is that the Godzilla terrace was off limits so no pictures with Gojira… I know these are little things, but for me these little things were the reasons I loved this place. I’ll stay somewhere else this next round.

Great hotel. Godzilla didn’t interrupt my stay

Good stay the staff were very helpful. The rooms are nice, the bathtub is deep and really relaxing with a full wet room. I spent most of my time in the room and would say it was enjoyable and had a nice view. Quiet at night too

Over priced small room with an even smaller window. Not worth the money and outside access to see Godzilla head closed (which only found out on arrival). Stay somewhere cheaper and go visit the hotel and you’ll see as much as a paying guest. Area isn’t safe for families.

I couldn't find escalator/elevator access via the East exit of JR Shinjuku station . . . Warning to guests travelling with luggage to be prepared to haul your luggage over stairs when going that way.

It was a dream come true finally getting to stay at this iconic hotel. As a Godzilla stan It lived up to all the hype. For non Godzilla fans the location and convenience to all the Shinjuku nightlife is right at your finger tips should you choose to partake. Fast wifi and superb staff.

This was a great, value for money place to stay. Room a bit small for our luggage but that’s just the way it is in Japan. Great bathroom with separate room for bath and shower. Very helpful staff. Great stay

Negatives: The standard room is far too small, single bed and no wardrobe. Drinks are expensive and the lounge closes at 10 pm. Positives: Staff are friendly and the property is ideally positioned in the heart of the city.
