Everything about Hotel Rose Garden was excellent except the room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Just came off a transpacific cruise and my hotel room was much smaller than my cruise cabin. Amenities were probably the best I’ve experienced. Staff was excellent. Just no space in room for any storage of anything. Bed against wall and had to crawl out end of bed to go to restroom at night. I would recommend this hotel considering the price we got it for compared to other hotels in Tokyo.

A typical budget hotel in an expensive city like Tokyo, very small room, u can't even open a large luggage in the room (can barely do it outside bathroom, but not in the room itself). The breakfast is not recommended, too little choices.On the positivr side, aircon very strong, hot shower is 24 hrs, coin laundry available, 10 meters from metro exit, convenience store downstairs.

Everything was excellent but the washer and dryer took a very long time. Our clothes were still wet after two dryer cycles. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Great location, super cozy room
Our hotel room was very small. There was just enough room to fit in four individual beds. It was like playing Tetris when we had to walk to the bathroom. But the bathroom was enormous! There was a huge tub in the shower area and dual sinks. There was plenty of room form several people to get ready at the same time in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and the beds were on the firm side. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that all of the front desk staff spoke English. The housekeeping staff was very friendly as well. The location was great! We were close enough to all the excitement of Shinjuku, but far enough away to have lots of peace and quiet. The closest train station was a two minute walk!

Booked this hotel because it's close to a train station...about a block. It's an older hotel but the room is nice and well-appointed. Bathroom is spacious and fixtures are new. The staff is English-speaking, friendly and helpful. We did not choose the breakfast option but there are convenience stores all around.
