Staying here was a really fun experience, loved it. The only downside was the long wait for the shower after our flight from Australia. The whole setup was fabulous and incredibly clean. With a one night stay for sure.
Stayed here my first night when I arrived in Tokyo. Wanted to have the experience for one night before going to my accommodation for the rest of my stay, though you could easily stay here for an entire trip. Perfect place to rest and freshen up after a long haul flight, and convenience stores and markets were nearby for snacks and small meals. I never interacted with any staff, as it was a machine checkin, but there were people around if there were any issues.
We stayed at this capsule hotel for 5 nights. The female and male capsules and bathrooms are separated onto different floors which is nice (this might not be ideal for couples). The capsules and bathrooms are kept quite clean and it is highly recommended that you bring earplugs for sleeping because you can hear every movement/noise within the capsules. The beds/pillows are not the most comfortable (it is a capsule hotel after all) so if you have a prolonged stay here just bear that in mind. The location is very convenient as it is very close to Ningyocho station.
Clean bathroom, no weird smells (all one can hope for when in an enclosed space). The person at the front desk seemed to hate her job/life though lol. I thought it was just because I didn't speak Japanese well, but she had the same indifference towards those who did speak the language (true equality). I wish her the best.
Overall is great experience and lot of good restaurants around. The only issue was the air flow inside capsule. It gets quite hot and sometimes you feel the air is not moving once your pull down the curtain
This place was well priced, nice and clean. Close to public transport, lots of bars and restaurants.
The only bad thing is that it can be loud in the dorms, the pillows are super uncomfortable and the floor can slippery when people bring in umbrellas. I had a slip and have quiet badly bruised my leg from this.
