Nice quiet area a short walk from Shin-Okubo station. The staff were friendly and patient with the language barrier (I could only speak a little Japanese). They even cleaned up the room and towels every day. 24 hour convenience store just across the road. Can’t comment on the breakfast or restaurant because we never used it, but both were available. Overall an enjoyable stay with no issues.
Very nice hotel. We had a view of the buildings of Shinjuku on the 6th floor. There is a wonderful garden with a waterfall and koi in a pond. Absolutely beautiful. A Lawson Store is right across the street for convenience. Would definitely recommend!
I love how quiet the place was and very very near Lawson. It's also 3 blocks to the station. The staff hardly understands english except for one who really helped us a lot and always smiling. Too bad I cannot remember his name. But overall our stay was good.
For those looking to stay near the busy area of shinjuku this was 1 train stop away and tucked into a quieter neighborhood. The room was small but comfortable with a tiny washroom you’ll understand if you’ve been to Japan before. The complementary cereal and coffee was nice for the start of our day. Fresh towels daily were nice. Only “issue” was we asked for an extra pillow and we were told ‘No, no, no - you only need 1’. All in all would recommend
The only thing that was disappointing was the wifi signal and occasionally dropping in and out
The staff however were amazing and for a cheap solution was amazing for us! Would recommend anyone travelling to Tokyo who wants a bigger room to stay here
I liked that they allowed me to store my luggage with them for a few hours after I checked out of my room. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was a little small, but manageable. It is a bit of a walk to the station, especially if you have a lot of luggage with you. You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel.
A great little hotel in a quiet pocket of Shinjuku, of course the rooms and bathroom were very small but we expected this in Tokyo! There is a Lawson convenience store directly across the road which is very handy for snack runs! It is a 10 minute walk from the hotel through a few back streets to Okubo Station, which is one stop from Shinjuku station, and from there you have pretty much the entire Japanese rail system to branch out to! My only suggestion to the hotel would be to provide some butter and jam for the croissants at the free breakfast, and an option for hot tea rather than just hot coffee, and it would be perfect!
Great valued choice. The room is pretty big compared to other hotels' same-level choices, and the staffs are nice and friendly. There's a free simple breakfast option with croissants and cereals provided. Enough for me.
One thing is that the property is a bit far from the JR station, but this contributes to its quiet environment on the other hand.
The sofa is a bit old and has a torn leather surface.
