Needs an update, smells old in the foyer. Doors are very heavy. Mattress was terrible but I had a great sleep! I liked being very warm. The receptionist was friendly when I arrived and left. They weren’t fussy about parking. The rooms and showers were nice. Good budget hotel.

Convenient for business trip

Pros: Breakfast was lovely and parking convenient
I was in a "garden room" which is in a separate block to the hotel. There was a man hanging around waiting for someone to open the door and when I didn't let him in as he couldn't show me his key, he said that he had just been smoking and had the door on the latch. After this, I didn't feel very secure in the building especially given I was in the first room in this building.

Wedding stay

Stayed one night . Toilet wouldn't flush . Reported it and went to a wedding. Arrived back around 1am. Toilet not working. Had to use communal facilities !! Apology but no refund offered. Helpful with ramp but could do with a new one

Business trip

Nothing to fault serves a purpose . Town centre location easy to find . Clean plenty of tea and coffee supplies
