We stayed at this hotel for a night away with the kids. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh cookies which they thought were amazing (as did we). Our room on the 17th floor was a little dated but clean enough. The kicker was when all but one elevator was down which took a good 10-15 minutes to get up there. Only to find as we were up on the top floor now all the elevators were down for repair. Our son is in a wheelchair and has severe medical conditions so our fear was that if an emergency were to occur, how we would get him back down. Parking was a nightmare getting in and out as the room key did not work and the parking arm broke at one point. The pool was cold and a little slimy. We don’t ask for a lot or need much but I can tell you we will NOT be coming back. Please do maintenance.

Great hotel near Pearson Airport. No complaints. The adjoining restaurant was good; the pool was great for the kids and it was quick access to catch our flight.

We have stayed at Double Tree Edmonton before and truly enjoyed our stay, so much that we chose this Double Tree at the airport. At check in we were switched to a different agent on a different counter half way through. No famous cookie was offered. No mention of deficiencies in the hotel was offered. As no guest rooms are on the main level, we headed to the elevators to get to our room to find out by a note on the wall that only one of three guest elevators was working. The note invited us to use the service elevator if needed that was located around the corner. The service areas were not at guest cleanliness, they were as they should be, being used for storage and back area things, no screens were in place to create any illusion of a guest acceptable area. We got to our room, which was fine. All we wanted to do was watch a movie and go to sleep. We tried to order a movie and couldn't. I phoned front desk and they instructed us to use the channel up button only. We did and got to local cable but no movies. When we called back to ask again Front Desk sent the maintenance man who explained that there wouldn't be movies, they were changing the TV's and movie system soon. There was no note at front desk about the elevators or the movies. There was no note in the rooms explaining about the movies and when we checked out within that hour Expedia refunded 1/3 of our night only. We will not be using Expedia or Double Tree in any of our future bookings.

Rooms were clean. Elevators out of service, no signs. I have mobility issues and had to walk down stairs. Later only one elevator, again no up date or signs. Pool very cold. Advised - no repair. Have to use room key to leave parking. Didn’t work. Staff didn’t do much to help.

We alway stay in hilton here in LA but this our first time in double tree in in canada for 5days vacation super the best hotel shuttle are very good even we go to the airport to ride a flixbus going to niagara falls back in fort super convenient.. room super clean and they always change your towel, front desk are super nice and super love there cookies I’ll both 1box and bring here in LA.. hotel rate for me and my husband 10/10 thank you for our wonderful stay ❤️

Definitely was not what I was expecting. Instead of having a nice, relaxing evening.. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator because only one was working.. when the three at the front of the hotel weren’t working, the manager of the hotel took us to the service elevator around the corner which we still had to wait for because only 5 people could fit in there at a time. My tv didn’t work, so i was stuck in silence. This trip was not worth using my free night and I want it back. Horrible experience.

The property is in a great location. Restaurant nearby and shopping area not far. Love the location it was mid-way for everything we accomplish to do on the trip.
