Be sure of your reservation numbers!
The reception didn’t recognized the money that I paid in advance to the Holiday Inn Mississauga (Britannia) for to the reservation of 4 rooms for 7 days: $500CD; to validate my claim the helpline of Hotels.com requested me a reservation number starting with “4” that I never received in any email sent by Hotels.com for the reservation; I received one stating with “7”…; when I showed in my phone to the Receptionist of the hotel the payments in my phone paid in advance they requested this “suppose” number starting with 4… insisting that the were just third parties. I’m very dissatisfied that Hotels.com made me lose $500CAD; unfortunately I couldn’t go anywhere with the 8 people we were already after a long trip.
