Dirty and broken
This location was in poor condition. It was not clean. We found piles of hair around on the floor, dryer sheets scatter in one bedroom, and many of the plates and dishes had black specks in them. I don't know what it was but I would have accepted dead bugs, or small animal poop....I really don't know. Many items are damaged or broken including pieces of the floor that are cracked and covered with a bathmat. One pot had a broken handle making it not usable, the curtain rods are falling off the wall, one cupboard door in the kitchen was broken right off and was balancing on the lower door.....the list goes on. I was very disappointed. It was gross staying there so we had to cut our trip short. With an expensive nonrefundable payment to NOT use the property for two of our three nights, it really sucked. We drove back home instead at 9pm with two toddlers. When I messaged the owner, I didn't even get an apology. I barely even got a response...just a demand for photos. It has now been a week since sending them and since we left and still nothing. I guess empathy isn't for everyone. This was our fourth trip in this fashion to attend TIFF every year and also our first time dealing with any issues like this, previously it has always been a very positive experience.

Property Management is awful. Non-responsive. For the unit the online photos are quite outdated. Walls are dirty. Washer full of moldy smelling clothes, had to sanitize twice before using. Misc things missing; no shower/body soap, had to buy, not enough TP to last for 5-day stay (had to buy), misc knobs and switches don’t work, advertised w/ internet/WiFi (upstairs where 6 X people would sleep the internet/WiFi is completely unavailable, no service, had to be in proximity of router located downstairs, the upstairs “extender” does not function). All furniture is worn out & tired, pots/pans are old/dirty. Main issue was property management only made inbound inquiries via text about our arrival and payment…They do not answer phone or answer text messages for the items that needed attention. Next door neighbor has 8 - 10 people on their front patio every evening, hanging out drinking/smoking. Can hear, smell, experience the neighbors guests each night, neighbor patio is directly below our bedroom window. A very small TV is located in the living room w/ no cable, no AppleTV, no FireStick (nothing). Missing HDMI cable to connect our laptop to watch Netflix/AppleTV. No TV’s in bedrooms as was advertised. One TV broken sitting in closet, the other TV is mounted on wall w/ no cable/internet/firestick/other….just a “dead” TV sitting on a wall. Bed in the loft is just a mattress stuffed into a corner, sitting on the floor b/c the bed frame broken, AVOID this property management Co.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. We had terrible customer service. The elevator was broken and it took us 30 min to just go to the floor. Then we got upstairs and the door was locked. We waited on the floor for over an hour waiting someone to unlock it and the person never came. We then wanted to leave. After we got “upgraded” to 3 bedrooms. The room was not what we expected it to look like. It was actually a downgrade from the original room we booked. From the time we arrived it took us 5 hours to get into a room. The room had no towels and very little toilet paper. There were dead bugs in the blanket. It wasn’t cleaned much. Overall this was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Die Aussicht auf den kleinen Flughafen war fantastisch. Union Station 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und ein Supermarkt Sobeys 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Unterkunft hat uns mit 4 Kindern ausreichend Platz gegeben. Der Pool und der Fitnessraum im Keller sind allerdings nur für langfristige Mieter zugänglich. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
