Convenient for Torquay seafront. Very spacious room, very clean. Staff attentive. A few parking spaces at front of hotel, but at £10 per night. Continental breakfast sparse, hot breakfast okay but not always sufficiently well cooked and no variations in what’s on offer, eg fried eggs every day, never scrambled or poached.

We had a wonderfull time at Abbey Sands!!! Great family friendly hotel. Close to the bay and the shops. Hotel staff were happy and friendly. The house keeping team were wonderful, made up our room every day and replaced teas and coffees. Hotel has lots of character!! Our daughter loved the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Warm and welcoming
It was a very lovely stay and we felt welcomed by staff. It made us enjoy our overall time in Torquay. A very big thank you to Peter so pleasant and a gentleman that accommodated our needs and also Elaine for being so kind to let us stay in a more suitable room. Breakfast had a good variety and was filling. My little one also felt comfortable.

This is definitely not a luxury stay and need a lot of improvements that are not reflected on the add pic! However, staff is friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable bed. Perfect for a weekend break
