Everything was fine , room was satisfactory for an overnight stay. the hotel is a little dated, we didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food

Seems nice but needs updating

Pros: The area, sure the outside space will be nice in the summer.
Cons: Cleanliness, updating
Location: Close to some pubs which is good as the bar shuts early.
Staff helpful. Didnt realise we had to put a tag on the door for the room to be cleaned so fresh milk and towels were chucked outside our door. The entertainment was cancelled every night because of numbers which is the main reason I booked.

Run down but improving..

Hotel is generally a bit run down, but there are signs of ongoing refurbishment. Freshly refurbished room was a huge improvement on my last stay. No WiFi, come on it's 2017....

Dissapointing Stay

Pros: Near the beach
Cons: Room conditions
Location: Close to town and restaurants
Only visit if your on a tight budget and not looking for a romantic getaway. The rooms are in bad condition. They are box rooms, not enough space for 2 people to walk, bathrooms are worse- hardly enough space for one person to stand and the exhaust fan didn't work. The corridor had a smell coming towards the room. Breakfast was just about the only acceptable thing that is if your happy to have the same repeat every morning. No wifi in rooms or in public areas, only cloud access.

The worst in the UK

Pros: It's location
Cons: Everything could be improved.
This is the worst hotel i've stayed in in the UK. The place feels like somewhere people go to kill their dreams. The staff were borderline incompetent. The Hotel Manager was aggressive and argumentative making their mistakes the guests problem. We were forced to pay their walk in rates because they had lost our booking. The Hotel Manager appeared to be agitated and was immediately aggressive towards us using language like "Pay the rate or i'll give your room to someone else" this was at 10pm with no one else in sight. He was terrible to deal with and possibly drunk on duty.
