The hotel is easy to find from the main station. It was clean with a good, hearty breakfast and close to the street action. The 11am check-out was good. I just didn't like the hard bed and my window wouldn't close easily.

Clean & convenient but small and not so comfy
Pros: convenient location, clean. Cons: comfort, size. This hotel is extremely close to Toyama Station and is reasonably priced. Our room was also extremely clean, but be aware that the basic double room (as is likely normal in these types of rooms in Japan) is very small for two people. Not much can be done to change that, I suppose, except spending more money. That being, our least favorite part by far was the bed. The bed is quite hard; feels a bit like a rock. A bit disappointing for getting a good night's sleep after spending all day out at the Alpine Route.
