This newly renovated space has an open concept kitchen, dining, and living areas with large windows and a European inspired décor that makes it the perfect location to getaway!
This space is perfect for families and smaller groups looking to stay close to all Traverse City has to offer from wineries, to breweries, restaurants, shops, trails, parks, and more as they are all within easy walking distance! You will have full access to the open courtyard and gym amenities. This open concept loft space can comfortably accommodate 4.
We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $125.00 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and 'retired' towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.
Vitalia is located in the courtyard area of “The Box” right on the corner of Boardman and Eighth. The Box is a multi-use building and features shared co-working office space on the top floor and a wellness center on the bottom level. This condo is in its own stand-alone building and you will still have access to the courtyard and gym wellness amenities. This historic building was once the home of The Traverse City Cigar Box Company, built in 1920 and renovated over the years it still maintains its historic feel and charm.
Perfect for larger groups, in addition to Vitalia, our adjacent 'Boardman Loft' a uniquely redesigned 4 Bedroom 2 Bath condo in the adjacent multi-use building. This building has some local history is newly renovated, it has an open concept commercial kitchen, dining, and multiple level living spaces, great for entertaining. It features salvaged wood flooring from the 1920’s and an eccentric décor to match. Guests enjoy the same exclusive access to our private gym, making 'Boardman Loft' an ideal satellite location for larger groups wanting to stay close together but seperate. Quiet hours are observed after 10pm. We are in a residential neighborhood so please make sure to respect our neighbors. No unauthorized parties are allowed.

This beautifully renovated space boasts a cozy King-sized bed in this open concept space. The living room also features a Queen-sized sectional sofa sleeper. This open concept space is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the area. This home can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults and/or an infant.

This space features 1 full bathroom with a full tub and shower. The bathroom features high quality amenities and is fully stocked with anything you may need while away from home. The bathroom is located off the bedroom area and features a large closet with plenty of space to unpack and get comfortable, this space includes a washer/dryer.

The large kitchen and dining space is perfect for small gatherings. This fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and center island was made for entertaining! It has everything you will need to cook up tasty meals, including new stainless-steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, crock pot, blender, and all necessary cookware and utensils. We also feature a separate drip coffee station with an assortment of coffee and tea available. We provide children’s dinnerware, utensils, and a high chair for young families. The kitchen is located at the top of the entry stairs in the open concept living space and features large windows where you can enjoy the courtyard or downtown views This open concept makes it easy for the cook in your group to whip up tasty meals and not miss any quality time.

The living area is thoughtfully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need while away from home, the living area features extra-large windows that allow in plenty of natural light to make the space bright & airy. Enjoy our “living wall” of real live plants thriving withing the space. The condo features a Smart TV and large and queen sleeper sofa, perfect for cozying up and watching movies. If you are looking for some family fun or group activity, check out our board game collection. There are also some kids' toys and books available.
☆☆ OUTDOOR & BUILDING SPACES☆☆
Outside, you will have full access to the building’s private courtyard (a shared space) which features a gas fire pit and grill along with several artistic touches which add to the historic vibe including a fountain and seating areas. The Well (basement level of The Box) also features a gym that is available for guest use.

2 Dedicated parking spaces for our guests, there is also additional parking next to the building and it will allow for an RV or larger vehicle. There is also a garage that could be made available for an additional charge. EV Charging available for guests. Please inquire with us on additional parking. Security cameras in use outside of the premises
There is a flight of 18 interior steps up to the condo, once in the condo all rooms are on the same level.
Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.
Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $250 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.

*Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.
Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.
Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
Visitors & Noise:
No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 6 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Pet fees are $125 up to 2 pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.
Housekeeping: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.
We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.
Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.
ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.
