Very comfortable rooms that were exactly as pictured and described. Also, a great location in the central area that is convenient to tours and the airport shuttle. The breakfast was also excellent with many options. And the staff was helpful and friendly.

Wonderful!
This hotel is clean, comfortable, and has an excellent location. The gym on the top floor has a great view. Go look even if you’re not exercising! We had a room with a view of the fjord.

The luggage storage area the guests have to place luggages themselves and the lift the guests no need to tap card so both areas have reflected that the hotel security issues not so strong

Perfectly situated near the water with a beautiful view over the mountains, bridge and Arctic Cathedral from the front and the pretty town and hillside to the back of the hotel. Great breakfast in the morning with everything you could want and good quality food. Friendly helpful staff all around. Nice looking modern hotel. Rooms were good but small. We booked a cosy room and were upgraded to the next size up as we were there for 7 nights which we really appreciated but that wasn't huge. Cosy rooms really are for 1 or 2 night stays I think. Most comfortable bed, bedding and pillows so had a good nights sleep. Housekeeping forgot to do our room one day but that's the only grumble. Perfectly situated for walking into town and all restaurants. Jonas Pizza restaurant in front of hotel was good and there's a bar nextdoor too. Taxi and coach pickup point at the front of the hotel. Local tours picked up from outside hotel or the hotel over the road. Boating tours are a 10 minute walk away. Nothing is that far and is in walking distance. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall experience was very positive: clean and tidy,warm and cosy,excellent location,marvellous sea view from room window and glorious breakfast.The only thing I didn’t like was that we paid for family room and we got only one queen bed.Staff was helpful enough and met my request for extra bed but that was not comfortable as it was folding in the middle and mattress was low quality too.I would stay there again though.

I stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel Tromso (booked the standard room with sea view but had a free upgrade to the superior room) for two nights in October 2024. The room was spacious and clean. The check-in took rather long (about 30 minutes) due to the long queue. The hotel's location is perfect - it is located next to Scandic Ishavshotel (which is the drop off point for the Best Arctic airport express bus from Tromso airport) and is a 5-minute walk from the Tromso Havn Prostneset bus terminal (which is the meeting place for several northern lights tours).

We arrived much earlier than check-in time, but they let us check-in right away. Our room was nice and had a great view!! The hotel is very close to most of meeting places for any tours. There are restaurants and shops nearby. I would stay again if we have a chance to go back to Tromsø.

Our experience at the Radisson Blu in Tromsø was disappointing. The room lacked sufficient heating, leaving us bundled up in thermals or sweatpants the entire stay. We booked a “sea view” room, expecting a scenic outlook, but it instead overlooked a parking lot where, on Friday night, people were partying and yelling until past 1:30 a.m., right next to a bus stop. When I called the front desk to request express laundry service, I was told by Christian, “I’m helping someone check out; I’ll call you back.” That call never came, and I had to go down to the lobby 35 minutes later and ask for assistance face to face. The hotel leans heavily into self-service, but it’s poorly managed and adds frustration rather than convenience. The one positive note was breakfast, which offered good food, but even that was served buffet style in an underheated area where dishes didn’t stay warm. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere; you’ll have a far better experience.
