The person doing check-in was a few minutes late opening the office, so we had to wait a bit, but otherwise check-in was fast and easy. The WiFi kept cutting in and out, which was inconvenient.

All cabins are in rough shape. Extensive paint peeling of doors, table and chairs so wobbly they were unsafe to use. Beds and linens were quite nice. TV in the space but no service available. Poor wi-fi reception.

As a standalone cabin, the unit was exactly as pictured. It was rustic, with a few amenities. Very small shower, rust stained toilet, and a very loud air conditioning unit were not ideal. Went in with very average expectations and the room met those. It was fine for a one night stay.

Dont stay at this place!
The light outside wouldn't turn on unless you held the switch on the inside in one certin spot(fire hazard). Door was all broke up, could barely open or close it. Bed was absolutely horrible and the whole place smelled like an ash tray.

Cabin was very disappointing
Cannot recommend this cabin. Bedspread, toilet bowl and shower curtain were stained, water heater capacity only allows one brief shower, no coffeemaker in our unit. We had to go to off site sister property for additional towels and cups for water. And the mattress had a significant sag in the middle.

This cabin was clean and convenient. I gave it a poor rating because the mattress was very hard and the noisiest mattress we have ever slept on. Every time one of us made the slightest move it creaked. Also, the tv didn't work and the shower was very small.

Not great. TERRIBLE bed! It sounds like an elephant fart every time you move! The bed frame was falling apart. The shower is auper small with little hot water. The ac did not work and it was super loud. It was basically clean though.

The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The toilet was not clean and toilet seat could use replacing. The shower was painful, it was hard pressure in a small shower. There was no coffee maker in the room and Tropic has no places open at 6, not even the lobby.

If you care about early morning coffee don’t stay here. There was no coffee pot in the room and they do not start serving coffee until later in the morning. In fact, you can’t get coffee anywhere in town until 7 AM. This was a really big problem for me. not even a gas station is open before seven.

Quaint and beautiful location
Other guests reviewing this property mentioned that their cabins we're not as advertised or had some wear. We stayed in cabin 8, and it was amazing. It was super cute and comfortable. My only complaint was that housekeeping did not take care when sweeping. We found they did not sweep the floor behind the bathroom door and under the nightstand. The area around the property has beautiful scenery, and it is walkable to restaurants and shops. Although there are check-in instructions, they are not specific, and we had a hard time finding where to check in and had to stop at a business to ask. We finally discovered that check-in is at the Red Ledges hotel across the street. If these instructions were given, I overlooked them. The lady at the desk is super friendly.

Good location as it was 15 minutes from Bryce.. great coffee shop and two restaurants you could walk to across the street. No kleenex, toilet with ring, shower floor stained. Breakfast was very basic and started at 8. Nice it was available. Very friendly front staff.
