Great little resort with a flair for the Arizona style. Lots of great natural surroundings, lobby area with bar and restaurant, fire pits, and central pool. Rooms were great with super comfy beds, one of the best I've ever slept on, just wish they were bigger than doubles. Hot tub was decent, wasn't quite working all the way but felt great on a cool night. On site horse back riding that we would definitely try next time. Would definitely stay here again.

I didn’t like booking a king suite with a pull out, getting my room keys, driving to the room after a 6hr car ride with a 9 month old and 3 year old and finding out we were downgraded to a 2 full bed room. Then packing the family up again driving back to the lobby to be told the hotel was fully booked. Now the room we got was nice don’t get me wrong. What was not cool was paying an extra $70/night for a suite and not getting a suite. The hotel did waive the hotel fee which was $56 total, that math doesn’t math.

The noise near the pool was terrible. We were up early from staff moving the pool furniture at 6am, and were not able to sleep due to noise from people at the pool late and at the bar. Up till midnight! We asked to move rooms but none were available (so they said) even though we checked in early. I would NEVER, have a room by the pool again!!

The staff at check in were great, but everything went down hill from there. We were placed in a room different than the category we booked and it was not clean and had a broken screen on the patio so we requested a room change. The new room was clean and had a great view from the balcony, but as it got colder in the evening we realized the heat did not work. We were told by the front desk that the heat in the entire building was not working. We did not want to have to move again at 10pm, so we requested extra blankets as the low was 40 degrees that night. We were given thin top sheets and told no other blankets were available. I could barely sleep because I was so cold all night. Would never stay again. For the same price range there are a lot of other properties in the area with similar scenic views but more updated.
