Great Location Terrible Experience
Initially, the drivers had difficulty for both of our arrival parties to find the location of the house. We were fortunate that a staff person was nearby when we asked someone for help. The property manager was ALWAYS quick to respond to issues but with that said there were LOTS of issues. To start, the main AC unit in the common area of the house was broken on arrival. It was fixed 1 day later but with a smaller unit that did not cool the house properly. So first day we had ppl at house working. Then, the house also smelled of sewage and a 2nd set of ppl came to fix that by flushing toilets and pipes and spraying house with a lot of air freshener. The smell came back and CAME BACK over and over to point where guests could not sleep in primary bedroom which appeared to be source of smell. On day 6/7 of 10 day stay they shared they were going to clean black water tank as it was likely source of smell. We hadn’t been able to sit indoors or enjoy meals. To add to it, pool area was constantly filled with leaves and filter did not work. Maintenance ppl came when we said it was a problem but ppl there ALL the time basically to deal with issues. The smell was STILL there on our last day. Worst part was we reached out to property manager to secure a partial refund for our terrible experience and they ignored us and then replied that they responded to our complaints without any consideration of having interruptions for ALL 10 days of our trip and it smelling like sewage.
