Desert Kenkō Joshua Tree 5 acres SPA / Priv. Hike

Summary:
Come and experience our quiet private 5 acres of the vast scenic desert landscape. We are 20 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park's east entrance (less crowded). Play on our volleyball court, or take a private hike to Daisy Point to see a dreamy sunset/sunrise views. Get some headspace in the beautiful muraled meditation room. Off-roading trails are close by. Take a dip/swim in our 15Lx8Wx5D hot tub, the currents are propelled by jets that let you backstroke to the starry night.

The Space:
We have curated a mid-century modern, boho, retro vibe with the help of an interior designer, so our guests can feel comfortable and relaxed when staying at our space.

Wifi coverage throughout the property. A mesh network will allow for coverage from the house to the airstream.

Main house:
- Centralized A/C via Nest
- 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
- The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, a study desk, and an ensuite bathroom.
- There is a patio from primary the bedroom to relax and watch the scenic landscape.
- The second bedroom has a double bed, and the second bathroom is across the hall and includes a bathtub.
- The dining area has a table for eight and an island between the kitchen and the living room.
- The living room has a couch and plants for the homey vibe. The TV has all the streaming services for better streaming.
- The kitchen has pots, pans, cups, dishes, utensils, and bowls.
- For the coffee lovers, we have a french press, a standard coffee pot, and a pod machine.

Outdoor space:
- On the deck to the left is a dining area with a propane grill, a dining table, and two hammocks to lounge in.
- Across from the deck is the graveled fire pit surrounded by palm trees.
- The H2X challenger 15D swim spa is to the deck's right, where you can do aqua aerobics.
- Three loungers and two adjustable patio umbrellas can adjust the height and rotation to get the right amount of shade from the sun.

Bungalows:
There are a total of six structures here. Below is a description of the structures when facing the house from the entrance.

- The bedroom has a full bed and desk to study with an AC unit.
- The carport area is another hanging-out space where you can work on hobbies or play ping pong.
- The meditation room has an A/C unit, four pillows, and yoga mats to get some headspace. The custom mural brings the outdoors in, and the glass doors open up to the rocky landscape so you can feel one with nature.

The entire compound is all yours during your stay.

Other Things to Note:
*** Please put the hot tub cover back on after each use, buckle and tie down the cover to prevent sand from getting into the hot tub. The gust of wind in Wonder Valley can reach up to 65 mph. ***

- By accepting the reservation, all guests assume the risk of any harm arising from the use of the pool/spa on the premises. This includes people guest may have over.

- It is suggested to park the vehicles along the side of the bungalows, for more shade.

- No parties, please respect the home, the furniture/accessories, our neighbors, and the desert environment. Keep the volume down after 10 PM.

- The property uses a Septic System for waste removal. Please do not discard ANYTHING in the sinks (i.e. no food waste down the kitchen sink) or toilet (other than the provided toilet paper). Following this policy will help avoid problems with the plumbing.

- All communications are done through Airbnb's platform.

- Additional or unauthorized guests can be grounds for immediate eviction from the property. $150 per adult / person per night charges may be applied.

- Pets – Allowed with written consent from host and $100 pet fee per pet (2 pets max). Violators will be asked to vacate and forfeit the deposit.

Interaction with Guests:
Our neighbor is our property manager and can arrive very shortly if need be!
