The Sunset Road House (kylpytynnyri! Riippumatot! Takka!)

Sunset Road-talo on kahden hengen, kahden kylpyammeen hiljattain kunnostettu vuonna 1952 asunut johtajan mökki vain 15 minuutin päässä Joshua Tree -puiston kansallispuiston länsisäästä.

Olemme suunnitelleet tämän kodin niin, että vieraamme voivat irrottaa pistorasian ja rentoutua samalla kun nauttivat kaikista nykyaikaisista mukavuuksista. Nauti upeista auringonlaskuista ja auringonlaskuista laajalta kannelta ja rentoudu kylpytynnyrissä yöllä, jota ympäröivät avoimet autiomaapäivät, villieläimet ja tähttäväinen, tähtitaivas.

Olemme hiljattain tehneet täydellisen remontin (alas nastat!) tällä vuosisadan puolivälissä jalokivillä, joten siinä on kaikki modernit mukavuudet, joista voit nauttia. Se sijaitsee 5 upeaa hehtaaria, jota voit tutustua vierailusi aikana. Sinun on ajettava pari päällystämätöntä tietä päästäksesi taloon, mutta yhdelläkään vierailijalla ei ole toistaiseksi ollut ongelmaa, mukaan lukien Prius! Paikallisia asukkaita ovat kanit, tienjuoksijat, kilpikonnat, kojootit ja kaikenlaiset aavikkoeläimet. Omaisuuden suosikkiasiamme on, että todella tuntuu kuin olisit keskellä tyhjää. Sisäänkirjautuminen ja virittäminen :)

Suuri, avoin konsepti asuintilassa on moderni keittiö, ruokailutila ja olohuone. Siellä on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta. Päälliköllä on king-vuode (kylpyhuoneella) ja toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, jotka voidaan muuntaa kuninkaaksi pyynnöstäsi. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on myös kylpyhuone. Koti toimii hyvin kaveriporukalle, kahdelle pariskunnalle tai pienille perheille. Jos tarvitset majoitusta useammalle vieraalle, meillä on myös äskettäin uusittu vintage-matkailuvaunu vuokrattavissa lähellä. Kysy muilta ominaisuuksiltamme! Toivotamme lemmikkieläimet 35 dollarin lemmikkimaksuilla.

Sunset Road House on noin 12 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Joshua Puun keskustasta (hauskoja kauppoja, ravintoloita ja baareja) ja 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Joshua Tree kansallispuiston vierailukeskuksesta puiston länsipuolella. Retkeilyn lisäksi olemme lähellä tunnettua Integratronia (parantava ääni kylpykokemus) tai nautimme kiertueella Gubler Orchid -tilalla. Jos etsit vähän toimintaa, siirry Pioneertowniin (25 minuutin ajomatka) ja vieraile Old West -elokuvassa, joka asetetaan ennen illallista ja juomia kuuluisalle musiikkipaikalle, Pappy & Harriet's. Saatat jopa onnekas ja näet The Rolling Stones tekevän sarjan!

The Sunset Road -talossa on upea uima-allas (kausiluonteinen) ja sekä bocce-pallokenttä että hevosenkengän kuoppa ... tai älä tee mitään ja makaa kiesitiloissa katsomalla päivältä laajaa autiomaa ja / tai liottamalla porealtaassa yöllä tähtihuovan alla. Nauti autiomaasta ilmasta yksityisessä ulkosuihkussa aina, kun se osuu mielikuvituksesi!

Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Noah Purifoy Foundation. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi ulkouima-altaan ja porealtaan. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaille yksityisen uima-altaan ja keittiön.

Wonderful stay!
We spent an amazing 4 days and 3 nights at the house near Joshua Tree. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Owners responded quickly with any questions we had. Beautiful area to watch the stars at night and about 30 minutes or so to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. All the amenities were there as advertised.

Perfect Desert Escape
Was looking for a place that was super remote but with all of the comforts of home. This place hit just right. Check in process was easy, everything we could need was available (robes were super cozy and perfect to put on after a soak in the spa). Visited the area for a long weekend escape for my husbands birthday and enjoyed every second. Woke up to an amazing sunrise on both mornings. Wish I could have stayed more than 2 days, but I will be back. Thank you!!

Fantastic stay
Nestled in a secluded corner of the Joshua Tree desert, this enchanting home embraced us with warmth and tranquility from the moment we arrived. The property boasts a stunning cactus garden that perfectly complements the serene desert landscape. During the day, we cooled off in the refreshing pool, and as the sun set, the hot tub provided a cozy retreat under the starry sky. The interior of the house is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with unique, stylish touches. Every detail has been considered, and the home is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. Despite the remote location, a large grocery store is conveniently just 20 minutes away. Our stay here was nothing short of magical—both rejuvenating for the body and soothing for the soul. The stargazing experience was truly extraordinary, and we were able to capture breathtaking photos of the Milky Way. We can’t recommend this oasis enough and can’t wait to return.

Joshua tree get away.
This vacation rental in Joshua Tree was fantastic! It offered plenty of activities and was perfectly located near the park. The check-in process was seamless, and the sunset views were breathtaking. The hot tub and pool were perfect for the weather during our stay. Highly recommend!

Great Escape in the Desert
It was wonderful to escape the rush of daily life in this peaceful, quiet, and lovely VRBO. All you could see were the mountains in the distance and all you could hear were the sound of birds. Our batteries were recharged. Kathryn and Jon were lovely hosts and answered all our questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Joshua Tree next.

Joshua Tree Getaway
We really enjoyed the serenity of our stay as we lounged in chairs watching the sunset and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. The house was clean and comfortable and was a wonderful place to unwind after long days of hiking in JTNP and sight seeing the unique art exhibits within minutes of this lovely home. We were able to take a short day trip out to Ladder Canyon, the Salton Sea Rec Area, Bombay Beach, and Salvation Mountain. We'd love to return here again in the future and continue exploring all that this beautiful desert area has to offer!

So relaxing!
My husband and I wanted to find a nice quiet place to unwind for a night, kid free. I messaged the owner with a question and she promptly replied. By the end of the day, I knew I wanted to book here! The place was in the middle of no where which we loved, so much privacy! Easy to find and check in was so quick and easy. The place was clean, cooled and ready for us. We especially loved the Hot tub at sunset. We also were left a complimentary s’mores kit which was so thoughtful. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed our night there. We would definitely book again!

A desert gem perfect for our anniversary!
The Sunset Road House was the perfect place for our anniversary get away. It was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed, all the basics for cooking (not to mention a French press!) and the AC worked fabulously in the 110+ degree heat we had while there. We also loved the little record player and vinyl collection. Best of all, it was amazingly quiet and we had a number of visitors - a jackrabbit greeted us, a roadrunner stopped for shade on the back patio, and a pack of coyotes strolled through on our last evening. It was a short drive to Joshua Tree and the National Park so it made for a great place to get away from everything but still be convenient. Kathryn was absolutely fantastic to work with, immediately responding to messages, and has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. And if you happen to run into Rick, he's more than happy to provide info on local places to check out. Thank you so much for this gem in the desert and the wonderful hospitality!

Excellent House and Owner
This house is outstanding... clean, comfortable, well-appointed and QUIET. It is in the desert with very little around (which is what we wanted), yet only about a 15 minute drive into Joshua Tree town. Kathryn the owner was GREAT to work with. She is extremely accommodating and responsive. Every inquiry was attended to immediately. I wish she owned every VRBO we stay in. If you are looking for a pleasant, relaxing getaway, this is it!

A Desert Dream
This house was amazing… it had a gorgeous yet subtle Bohemian vibe, was well-stocked with all of the necessities (and lots of extras) and was sparkling clean. Everything about it captured the essence of the landscape and gave my family and me that Joshua Tree experience I was looking for. The fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool (loved the cold plunge!), the hammocks, outside dining space and fire pit made it a true desert oasis. The hosts responded quickly and graciously to all of my questions, and the whole booking experience was easy and seamless. I’ve already recommended it to my friends who are planning a trip there, and I plan to go back again as well. It truly is a gem!

Cozy stay
We traveled with our two teenagers in early March 2023. Kathryn was always available and responded right away when we had a little trouble unlocking the door when we arrived. It was cold and snowing during our stay but we stayed in and it was comfy and cozy - we had the fire going and played games. It's very quiet and the space was perfect for us for a few days. Thanks for being such great hosts!

A perfect remote getaway, minutes from town and the park.
We stayed in December 2022 and enjoyed our stay immensely. The property offered wonderful quiet and solitude, while still being a short (10-15) minute drive to the town of Joshua Tree and the park entrance. There were many amenities we didn't use given our visit was in winter (such as the pool and outdoor games) but we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy indoor space. The house was clean and well-appointed. Also, we wanted to turn off a light on the heater and the hosts were lightning-fast in their response to our question and promptly addressed the need. We'll surely be back when we get out that way again!
