This was my first time booking a Motel 6, and ultimately the last. I knew the comfort would be limited - fine. But I really was hoping for a clean room. Instead - awful stains on top of the toilet, the stickiest floor ever, hair everywhere, a dead fly on top of the A/C. Ugh...

Place was disgusting. Hair on everything. One of the towels was obviously not washed. Toilet paper looked like it had been wetted and left on the roll. Wish I could submit a picture it was gross. People partying in the pool with loud music most of the night. What a dump.

A decent overnight stay. I slept well though since I was tired. I requested a non smoking room but the room smells like cigarettes. The hotel is not far from the Joshua Tree park north gate.

I think i reviewed this same motel for my stay the previous week. This room seemed a little more worn. Maybe some old water damage on the bathroom ceiling that was patched. Also, i looked under the bed, and saw serious dust bunnies. So not super clean, but still, good, for the price. Saved $100 over two nights versus the Super 8 in Yucca Valley. Hotels.com price was great.

Very noisy neighbors on both sides. Area outside of doors very dirty. Wood floor in room felt as though it had never been mopped or properly cleaned. Stained and very worn bedding.

The furniture in my room was broken & chewed up and gang grafitti inside the drawers. My door was busted didnt properly close. You can still lock it but it had a gap the smoke detector cover was off. You could smell ciagarette smoke coming from the bathroom vent time to time. $100 a night was a bit steep under those conditions. I requested a room change was told there was no availablity. I requested a late checkout because i was waiting for my Lyft driver to arrive the front desk guy knocked on my door & was quite rude. They should be more understanding especially since the condition of their rooms were of substandard. Christopher the night time front desk clerk was the ONLY one who was pleasant and curtious upon my arrival

Rating based on class and price. It's a Motel 6. Reasonable price on short notice. Third floor room was quiet. I like the "hardwood" floor. No carpet to hide who knows what. In room mini fridge was fine. Froze my blue ice overnight. Bed was fine. AC a bit weak, but sufficient. Bathroom clean. Great location.

The room was big and had everything except electrical outlets. There were a few stains on the bathroom wall but other than that, it was fine. Staff were pleasant and a big thank you for the amount of grass they had. We are from Ohio and our dogs are used to doing their business in grass. Who knew all the grassy parks in Twentynine Palms would not allow pets. Pet owners, please pick up after your pets and don’t ruin parks for the rest of us.

It was basic, which we expected as a quick overnight for a relatively cheap price. The beds were hard. The pillows uncomfortable. It was clean. The bothersome part was the garbage collected outside the west side of the property and the people staying there. There were several run down vehicles parked all along the building, two of which were parked very close to our staircase on either side. These vehicles (and others) had people in them smoking and drinking until all hours of the morning giving the appearance of a party hangout. It felt very unsafe.
