LOCATION: Across the road from the original Oasis of Mara and National Park land, this home offers peace, quiet, and gorgeous desert mountain views as well as easy access to the Oasis of Mara trail. Located on a quiet side street a short distance from the 29 Palms entrance to JT National Park and a short walk off of the town's "main drag" (hwy 62), it's perfectly located for anyone wanting to explore the park and all the best galleries, restaurants and bars the area has to offer. Filled with great vintage mid-century furniture and decorations.
KITCHEN:has a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave and all the kitchen essentials you need to cook all your favorite recipes. Seating for 6 in a dining nook surrounded by large windows, you can enjoy your meals while taking in the scenery and desert skies.
FAMILY ROOM: provides a cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating for your whole group. Perfect for listening to music by the fire and playing games or streaming movies on the 55" Smart TV.
SUNROOM: offers a quiet spot to soak in your morning coffee and views from the back of the property. Fancy a game of chess or have the mixologist in your group sling drinks from behind the Mid Century Drexal bar.
BATHROOMS: carry original vintage 1950s tile, the perfect place to enjoy a shower after a long desert day or for getting ready before your short walk down to the best theater (theater 29) restaurants and bars in town.
BEDROOM: sleeps two in a queen bed. You may have a hard time choosing between the views of the Oasis of Mara to the south or the gorgeous Joshua Tree located just out your other window to the west. Leave your yoga mats and blocks at home, you can borrow ours in the upper cabinet of the closet. The only bedroom on the west side of the house and next to the green bathroom and kitchen, this bedroom is perfect for the early risers of your group.
BEDROOM 2: sleeps two in a California King bed. With its vintage inspired wallpaper and mirrored vanity, the vibe here is perfect for those in your group who enjoy privacy and space when getting ready. With a private entrance to the front and its own view of the Oasis of Mara out of the south facing window, this beautiful bedroom with darkening shades is the one to stay in if you are a night owl or love to sleep in late.
BEDROOM 3: sleeps two in a classic king bed (memory foam). The largest of the three rooms with a mid century desk and secret bookshelf door into the sunroom, this is the best option for the littles, guests who need to work while on the road or for those who love to spread themselves out. Check the built-in cabinets for classic games that leave you nostalgic for simpler times.
PRIVATE YARD is a peaceful, quiet spot to wind down and connect. Sunbathe during the day or star-gaze at night on the SUN LOUNGERS. Fire up the charcoal GRILL. Play a little CORN HOLE, soak in the 8ft COWBOY TUB in the summer or 5 person HOT TUB in the cooler months, or cozy up around the FIRE PIT — this fully fenced back yard has something for everyone.
We love quality guests and we especially love when they return. Therefore we offer a 10% discount to any 5 star returning guest for future stays at any of our 4 properties located in Mammoth Lakes or near Joshua Tree National Park.

The Cowboy Tub and Hot Tub are seasonal and are not offered concurrently. The Cowboy Tub is offered in the summer only while the Hot Tub is offered in the winter, late fall and early spring.
Although we are pet friendly, we allow only dogs, for a maximum of 2, with a $100 per dog fee. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we are not able to host any other type of animal.
