This comfortable haven blends modern convenience with a touch of nostalgia. Enjoy a kitchenette setup for light meals, Roku TV with FREE Netflix and a king-size bed for a blissful slumber. Spend evenings surrounded by solar lights in the quaint shared yard or explore downtown delights, just a short stroll away.
SLEEPING AREA - Furnished with comfort in mind. Featuring comfortable linens, pillows, a KING size bed and Roku TV with FREE Netflix. Pleasant surroundings with an abundance of natural lighting. To maximize room space (instead of a closet), there are 3 convenient wall hooks and a wall rack with hangers for your clothes. Luggage rack also provided.
KITCHENETTE - This kitchenette makes eating in and preparing small meals convenient and easy. Features include a large single basin sink, spring spout faucet, small apartment size refrigerator, microwave, electric skillet (no oven/stove), drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, plates, bowls, eating utensils and kitchen tools. Dining counter features 2 comfortable bar stools to relax and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or can also double as a space to work from home. *Please, note that this is a well appointed kitchenette, however, it is not a full kitchen (there is NO stove, oven or dishwasher).
BATHROOM - Small cheery bathroom with updated fixtures and small tiled walk-in shower. Features: sink vanity, extra shelf space, hanging wall baskets for storing guest items, hairdryer and quality towels. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
WORKSPACE: If you work remotely, the bar counter offers plenty of room to spread out with your papers and laptop.
PARKING - One convenient parking space is reserved for guests directly behind the cottage. Also, FREE public street parking is available 24/7.
HOUSEHOLD AMENITIES: All daily basics such as linens, towels, hand soap, dish soaps and cleaning products are available for your comfort. Coffee, cream, sugar and tea provided. Steam iron, ironing mat and hairdryer available for use.
HEATING: A wall heater in sleeping area keeps this guest house comfy cozy. Baseboard heater in bathroom.
AIR CONDITIONING: For warmer weather, a wall air conditioner is centrally located in the kitchen and nicely cools down the entire cottage. Air conditioner is winterized and unavailable for use, during winter months.
SEATING: Two bar stools are provided. *Please, note that inside seating consists of only the two bar stools and king size bed. No couch or other inside seating is available. Outside chairs are available, as well as a patio table to relax at.
TV/WIFI: Roku TV with FREE Netflix access. Modem is inside the unit. We do not provide Ethernet cables, however access is available. TV is wall mounted in the sleeping area for easy viewing from either the bed or bar stools/counter.
OUTDOOR SPACE and YARD: The lawn is a work in progress and an RV is being stored next to the guest house. The other homes on property are a work in progress and may detract from the yard’s general visual appeal. The shared yard is fully fenced. Guests are provided a patio table and chairs in front of their “home away from home.” Solar lights come on in the evening to give the yard a charming place to relax and enjoy. From time to time, you may possibly see someone come by to do lawn maintenance, adjust sprinklers or do maintenance on one of the other houses.
MOTORHOME - Owner’s motorhome is stored in the driveway next to this cottage, as seen in the listing photos. It is parked between Guest Cottage A and Guest Cottage B (This listing is for Cottage B.)
MULTI-HOUSE PROPERTY: This guest house is one of three separate houses on one property. It enjoys a fenced yard which is behind the main house and shared with another little guest house. The other units are currently unoccupied and being remodeled. SEPARATE main house and a SEPARATE second guest house are currently being remodeled. These are separate houses and any work being done will be done during reasonable work hours. This should not affect your stay since they are all completely separate buildings. Since the other two houses are still a work in progress, they are not yet in the same updated condition as the guest house you’ll be staying in. We list the yard as a SHARED SPACE as there may be someone entering the backyard to access the second guest house while it is being remodeled. They will not have any access to your guest house and they will respect your privacy. The property is an overall work in progress, however we are so excited to share this unique historical district guest cottage with you!
GUEST - Enjoy your own private Studio Guest Cottage and the grassy common-area yard. Cottage entrance can be accessed either from the private parking space located directly behind the cottage or street parking in front of the property.
NEIGHBORHOOD / SURROUNDINGS - Our neighborhood is listed on The National Register of Historic Places as, “Twin Falls Original Townsite Residential Historic District.” It’s just down the street and within walking distance of Downtown Twin Falls restaurants, breweries, shops, parks and fun Downtown community events.
There are 3 separate cottages on this property. The frontage of the property is along a simple, 2-lane city street. The back side of the property is accessed by the original gravel alley, just like it was during the olden days.
The neighborhood itself consists of older homes, multi-family dwellings, a school and businesses. It’s about a 7 minute walk or 0.3 miles to Downtown Twin Falls shops, restaurants and entertainment.
This part of town has been and is still going through some changes. Think urban pioneer. Twin Falls invested millions into the Downtown Renovation project. Now, Downtown is the happening place to be! With restaurants, breweries, a cooking store, ice cream shop, cheese shop, an old fashioned theater we now love walking to Downtown Twin Falls.
- We are located along the original main avenue of our little city. Across the street is a small high school.
- Private parking is located behind the cottage and is accessed by gravel alley. Across the gravel alley are the backyards and garages to other homes. There is an empty lot directly across the alley behind the cottage. There may be parked vehicles in the empty lot.
- A quaint, gated little park is just 450 feet away (seasonal).
- Summer Visits: You’ll be in walking distance of our Saturday morning farmer’s market and fun Wednesday evenings with live bands and dancing in the street.
- During Christmas Time: Watch for the Annual Twin Falls Festival of Lights Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony. The parade begins right in front of the property, in the high school parking lot and ends around Downtown Commons for the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
- October: You’ll be within walking distance of Oktoberfest.
- Major Holidays: For holidays with parades, the staging area is held in the parking lot, across the street. Watch the beginning of the parade from the yard or follow the parade into the Downtown area.
- Most restaurants, shops, grocery stores, parks, medical centers and Costco are within a 3-4 mile drive.

GUEST POLICY
- Maximum guest occupancy is 2.
- Quiet Hours observed between 10 PM - 8 AM, daily. Additional visitors must leave the property by 10 PM.
- Please, no smoking in the cottage or yard. Smoking inside the cottage or yard will result in a $250 fine. We have smoke detectors in the unit which alert us if a guest is smoking inside the unit.
- Sorry, no parties. We encourage you to enjoy your space, but not at the expense of your neighbors or the unit itself. Parties, loud music or community disturbance of any kind may result in guests forfeiting their security deposit.
- FREE TV/WiFi Guests agree they will not download illegal or copyrighted content, subscribe to any paid video channels, nor make any configuration, hardware, settings or software changes to our internet or TV infrastructure.
- CHECK-IN TIME IS 4 PM. Early check-in may be available based on the housecleaner's schedule.
- CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10 AM. Staying past 10 AM, without Host’s prior approval, will result in a $25 fee for each half-hour increment you remain on the property.
- STAYS OVER 14 DAYS: Every 15 days, housekeeping is required and provided by us at an additional cleaning fee to guests. This provides guests the comfort of fresh linens, towels and provided supplies.
PET POLICY
- A well-behaved Dog may be allowed, with pre-approval. A non-refundable Pet Fee of $40 will be charged. Please NOTIFY us that you will be bringing your pet. Due to Cat allergies, we are unable to accept Cats.
- Pets must be supervised and remain with guests, at all times. Pets may not be left alone at the property for any reason. Guest’s responsibility includes maintaining control over their pets at all times while on premises, both while inside cottages and outdoors.
- Please clean up after your pets immediately.
- The $40 Pet Fee covers normal clean up and normal wear and tear due to the hosting of pets. **Please Note that this Pet Fee does NOT cover any damage or additional cleaning which are above and beyond that which is reasonable.
