DO NOT STAY HERE ON A MONDAY The motel unit was fantastic and cozy. Had 3 single bed in the upstairs and a queen down stairs. Was nice and tidy. However the town really disappointed us. On mondays apparently everything is closed. We got in at 8 and there was no food establishment open so we had to skip dinner. But the room nonetheless was great! So defiantly stay here but just not on a Monday.

Quirky, basic accommodation that was easy to find. Unfortunately our shower was either hot or cold, as mixer tap was broken. Beds were comfy.

Cute little chalet, easy check in. Clean bed, nice kitchenette. Not too far from Christchurch, great launching point for Lake Tekapo, Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, and Wanaka. Can walk to downtown/restaurants, a park with old machinery just across the road kids might like.

We so appreciated the location and having our own kitchenette. There was coffee in unit and parking right in front of our chalet. Lots to love! Our problem was with the beds, which are in desperate need of replacement. None of us slept well.

The room was sunny and quiet, and I was able to stay comfortably. However, it was unfortunate that there was bird droppings in the room.I guess it can't be helped since they had the windows open for ventilation.

Good location. Had to report to the Owner /Mnger the following: Batteries missing in the bedroom TV remote No light bulb in the bedroom bedside light Kitchen cupboard doors were very loose No proper Wardrobe...had 2x clothes hangers only. We recommend a modernised general update & focus on maintenance ... the Owner/Mngr responded by telling me that she would follow up our report with the young cleaners. We again recommend that all reports shld be followed thru by the Mngr/Owners NOT the cleaners.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was spacious and quiet. Even though it did get cold at night, I was fine with their comfy blanket and electric mattress pad. Definitely recommend it!
