Fui en un momento deficil y se q tenian un problema muy serio y triste con la desgracia de la DANA. Pero yo pague mi estancia y no me dieron ninguna descuento, ni crĆ©dito, el hotel estaba hecho un asco por los trabajadores de la DANA y lo entiendo y comprendo,pero yo soy huĆ©sped y tienen q tener respeto por la salud y la higiene y en eso no habĆ­a ningĆŗn cuidado , ni medida y eso es fundamental cuando hay un desastre natural las medidas higiĆ©nicas tienen q tomarse en serio para evitar propagaciĆ³n de enfermedades, no hacen nada con ayudar y salvar vĆ­ctimas cuando despuĆ©s esparzas suciedad y puedas crear una situaciĆ³n epidemiology por no tener ni cuidado, ni respecto por los huĆ©spedes y el Hotel Hizo 0 esfuerzo por controlar y cuidar los otros huĆ©spedes q pagaron para pasar sus vacaciones, y no les dieron ni descuento, ni disculpas ni mucho menos consideraciĆ³n por la limpieza y intentar pasar unas vacaciones q se planiaron con mucha antelaciĆ³n y dinero reunido

Good overal, we did not get cleaning service 2 days. Of which 1 was adviseer die to the storm, but the second was not. We also were informed by the recepciĆ³n that water was only included in the first nightā€¦. We stayed 5 nights! A bit strange, especially in a place where tap water is not used to drink and you get a coffee machine, which is totally unusable without clean water.

Melia did a great job to help the people in need after Dana shook up the province, we were at the hotel that nightand although we were not informed or nobody told us not to go out, we were fine where the hotel was located. The next day there was no house keeping service and this was nicely done with a letter in the room explaning...but the 4th night the room wasn't cleaned again, which was not ok and no explanation letter. Also something anying is that we did not get water in the room and the receptionist told us that only the first night, you get water...but the water is not recommended to drink from the tab and the room price is the same, these little details make a stay uncomfortable.

I donā€™t like to write negative reviews but I couldnā€™t find a way to contact hotels.com and I sent the hotel three emails which have gone unanswered. I stayed at the hotel for two nights September 27-29, 2024. I did not sleep either night because the air conditioning did not work in either room. Ray, the manager was great and did his best to make me comfortable but there is only so much he can do with a tired property. I stayed at two other hotels in Spain and slept well in both hotels. I left some dresses in my room. When I called the hotel to inquire, they told me to send an email to recepcion.melia.valencia@melia.com I have sent 3 emails which have gone unanswered and they did not bounce. Also the reception told me that if they did find the dresses, I would have to make my own arrangements to pick them up which I am willing to do but this highlights the quality of the service this hotel provides. I am asking for a refund and for the hotel to reach out to me so I can make arrangements for me to pick up my dresses. My preference would be for the hotel to ship the dresses to my home and I will pay the cost. Apologies for leaving a negative review. I didnā€™t want to have to do this.

Excellent hotel for attending the congress centre
Beautiful hotel on the northern outskirts of Valencia but directly opposite the congress centre. Could not fault the room at all. Shame it wasnā€™t nearer to the city centre but this doesnā€™t detract from the hotel.
