Friendly staff in a structure getting obsolete
The room looked dated and worn, in need of renovation. The sofa bed showed signs of age, especially the bed base and mattress. the sockets built into the lamps were defective, with signs of excessive wear and tear. The air-conditioning system was technically ill-conceived, perhaps retrofitted with interventions over time, and inefficient. People and staff very nice and professional.

At first we didn't care for the hotel's location because it seemed to be in a bad part of town. There were lots of cop cars, homeless people on the street, and nightclubs. However, we stayed for six days and the location grew on us. There is plenty of food close by to choose from. The people on the streets became more entertaining than something to fear. And the view out our balcony gave us a great view of people on the streets. The hotel is nice and the service was pretty good too.

The staff were friendly and efficient. To my suprise I received a room upgrade which elevated our experience. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable while we were a quick walk away to a concert venue with access to plenty of shopping, dining and transit options.

Stayed one nite for a wedding. The staff was great! Early check in was made available and the hotel was modern and accessible. The room was really clean if a little musty smelling. The A/C and some perfume took care of that. I did find the parking charge a little excessive but guess that's a sign of the times. All in all. a wonderful stay.
