The Burrard is in a great location and I was able to walk to most main areas. It felt safe and was very convenient. The food options nearby were excellent. Staff were helpful too

Great budget stay in Vancouver! The hotel is literally next door to the Sheraton. It’s a fantastic location. Excellent service, the staff honestly couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was fine for three of us overnight. I would happily stay here again

We would definitely stay at this property again! It is an older but clean and sufficiently renovated hotel, with a good coffee shop conveniently next door. It is right opposite St Paul's Hospital, so it is VERY convenient for medical stays; however, that area of Burrard, and the back alleys, are somewhat iffy. The parking is controlled, so that is good. It is an easy downhill walk to the waterfront.

The one and only drawback of this place is that parking here is WAY too expensive. I paid 40 dollars US a night in parking for 5 days. 200 USD for parking is unbelievable considering what I have heard. If you don’t have a car this place is 10/10 perfect no problems with any of the service, but the parking drives this review down.

The “upgrade” I’m not sure what entailed of it, as it was just about 300sq feet and pretty basic, but overall it was clean and we just needed a place to sleep for the night while in Vancouver
