I was floored I didn't find this hotel before now. It's such a gem! From the genuinely friendly and helpful staff and modern yet warm style to the immense amount of room space and amenities, this place is the perfect downtown, affordable and convenient place to stay with so many perks. Right off the center of downtown Vancouver. So you're just a short walk away from restaurants, shopping, the skytrain, but dont have to deal with the traffic that entails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Be aware there are shared washrooms, I didnt mind but I know there are those that do.

We LOVED this property! The property is beautiful with hardwood floors and a wonderful shower! The location is great and walkable to the hockey arena. They cleaned our room and refilled our Nespresso pods and waters. Silvia saw us coming back and asked if we needed anything. She was so sweet! We would definitely stay here again! Its so convenient to the train station from the airport.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Victorian. We enjoy that it is downtown and reasonably priced. The rooms are lovely and the washrooms are nice and updated. The vibe is a nice, boutique hotel. You do need to be aware that it is downtown, so there can be loud sirens at times. Suggestions for the hotel: - add a small light above the mirror so it's a bit easier to see for shaving or applying make up - the glass on the table was shifting a lot when we were sitting at the table; adding something on the bottoms to secure it in place would be beneficial

It's a really nice little hotel in an interesting part of Vancouver. Clean and friendly. However, bring ear plugs. I don't know if was just because of where our room was situated in the building but it was noisy. Noise from the alley below, could hear every conversation and car go by. The room was also way too warm with no ability to turn the radiator all the way down. Opening the window helped but just made the noise worse.
