Perfect for a short stay in Varadero within walking distance of the beach and a selection of restaurants. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped and there was wifi available (unusual for most of Cuba). Plus the friendly host's excellent breakfast was a good start to each day.

Best spot in Varadero
Top location - just 2 mins away from the beach yet safely 1 block away from the busy road giving the silence and peace Impeccably clean rooms better equipped than a hotel Gorgeous garden where one can sit back and relax Extremely helpful and hospitable owners The family also offers dinners - absolutely the best food we had in Cuba. Actually, the lobster was better than anyone I have had before.

The rooms are very nice, clean and in excellent condition, in my opinion. The breakfast is very good and the owner very friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend this casa.

Gema was a fantastic host who spoke wonderfully fluent English. Her property is actually in Varadero, which Expedia called Cardenas. Villa Mercy is just one block from the beach. The $5 breakfast is well worth it.

Great place - clean, peaceful. Close to the beach. Located in the old part of Varadero and is close to restaurants and shops and markets. Amazing breakfast that included fresh fruit, freshly-squizzed juice, eggs, bread, jam and butter, and a lot of kindness and assistance from the hostess and other staff. Highly recommended!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war sehr angenehm. Wir wurden von der Besitzerin des Hauses sehr sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie spricht fließend englisch und konnte alle unsere Fragen beantworten. Die Atmosphäre des Hauses ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Das selbstgebackene Brot (macht der Chef des Hauses) ist einfach köstlich. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Auch die Nähe zum Strand (3 Minuten zu Fuß) ist gut.
