Vashon-saaren kauniilla länsipuolella sijaitseva, tämä on ainutlaatuinen, hiljattain kunnostettu rantahotelli yksityisomistuksessa olevalla hiekkarannalla, jossa on laituri ja poijut. Se tarjoaa laajan, upean 180 asteen näkymän Puget Soundille, joka on kohti etelään sijaitsevaa Gig Harbor -satamaa, lännessä Kitsapin niemimaa ja pohjoiseen sijaitsevaa Baker-vuorta. Saarella ei ole muuta paikkaa, kuten sitä. Kolmen makuuhuoneen koti on sisustettu kauniisti, jotta voit tuntea olosi mukavaksi ja kotoisaksi. Koristeelliset puiset seinät antavat sille lämpimän, maalaismaisen, perääntyvän ilmapiirin. Kiinteistölle pääsee myös ankkuroidulla veneellä.

Suurin makuuhuone on sisustettu queen-size-vuoteella, keskimmäisessä huoneessa on täysikokoinen parivuode ja pienimmässä makuuhuoneessa yhden hengen vuode. Talo nukkuu korkeintaan 5 vierasta.

Keittiö on täysin varustettu nykyaikaisilla laitteilla, kuten astianpesukoneella ja mikroaaltouunilla sekä tuoreella kahvalla ja teellä. Pyyhkeet, tuoreet vuodevaatteet, shampoo ja saippuat toimitetaan. Kylpyhuoneessa on 3/4-kylpyamme suihkulla. Siellä on täysi pesula, jossa pesukone ja kuivausrumpu avuksesi.

Olohuone on sisustettu mukavasti ja siinä on TV ja DVD-soitin. Voit käyttää Netflix- tai Amazon Prime -sovellusta. Wi-Fi sisältyy hintaan.

Ruokapöydässä 6. Keittiö on avoinna ruokailutilalle, jossa on lisäistuimia.

Hiekkarannallamme asuu monenlaista meren elämää, nisäkkäitä ja lintuja. Näet todennäköisesti kotkat, sinisen haikara, satunnaisen merisaukon, hylkeen tai orvavalan, jos pidät silmäsi vedessä. Rantaa pitkin on suuri hiekka-dollarisänky ja useita äyriäisiä.

Olemme sijaitsee noin 5 minuutin päässä kaupungin keskustasta, jotta pääset nopeasti paikallisiin näkymiin. Heaven in the Rain
Stunning definition of the word "cozy"! The location is beyond amazing-- the cabin reminded me of my Gramps' cabin in Colorado, but with every single detail already considered. The beds were fine, kitchen fantastic, the wrap-around, covered porch great--- and this arm of Puget Sound was in our front yard! The Pacific Northwest's "atmospheric river" was there for the whole time, but we were safe and warm and had lots of windows to view the interesting ship traffic from south to north in the Sound. HUGE shells on the little beach when the rain let up! Saw several big sea lions on purposeful journeys, and I am sure some orca went by, but we missed them. Vashon Island is paradise to me---we could not have been happier. Thanks so much, Mary Ann!

Awesome spot on the beach.
Peaceful, scenic, all we needed. The hosts are awesome - available if you need them, otherwise they leave you to enjoy. The house is well equipped and comfortable, off the main roads a bit, but that is part of the charm.

Maryann is the best owner I ever meet on VRBO its not one thing that you will not find in her home, its so welcoming, u name it and its there, even fuzzy socks for a cold night. Amazing! Fantastic vacation rental
This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The place had everything you needed and great amenities (even rubber boots for walking on the beach) and a fully equipped kitchen. The view is amazing, what a peaceful place to relax. We will definitely stay here again.

Driftwood Property Stay
This property was wonderfully cozy and picturesque. It was well equipped and the setting was beautiful. We stayed there for two nights for our son's wedding at a venue about 10 minutes away, so we didn't have much of a chance to enjoy the home or the outdoors since we were gone most of the time. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

Just what we needed, a perfect escape
The location is perfect, quiet and right on the water. Beach with plenty of sand and treasures brought in by the tide. Geese every evening, nesting boxes on the pier, crows and seagulls and cormorants. The house is lovely and comfortable and well stocked for cooking your own meals, plenty of towels and sand toys. A great place to set out and explore from, and come back to. Overall, I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay on the island and I hope we can come back soon! Thank you for a great and restful vacation.

As always, terrific. Quiet and peaceful. House is immaculate. Easy in and out with my kayak. MaryAnn lives nearby. She always meets you when you arrive and is always available. It’s wonderful not having to deal with an impersonal property management company. And the Purple Martin show is very entertaining.

Driftwood Retreat is a DELIGHT!
Our annual Sisters Celebration was one of our best in 20 years. The accommodations were beyond our expectations, with a full kitchen and great appliances. We spent our time exploring the island and just spending wonderful time watching the boats and wildlife, including a morning visit from a young eagle. We encourage you to visit!

Wonderful getaway!
We couldn't have asked for more! The house is right on the beach and is fully stocked we everything we needed. We spent the days searching for sea shells, marveling at the sand dollars and roasting marshmallows on the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Another wonderful visit to Vashon
Thanks to our hosts for another wonderful stay! As always, the house was perfect and the setting even better! Vashon is the perfect PNW getaway, with a short ferry ride, great coffee houses, fun shopping, beaches and the lighthouse. Such a neat community and we feel tucked right into it while we stay at Driftwood. We love visiting this house in the winter for the NW moodiness and beach combing. The house is great for our family and comes equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, play games, light a bonfire on the beach and get cozy. Communication with the host is super easy. Unlike some vrbos that have so many rules and duties that it feels hostile-driftwood feels very relaxed and we felt welcomed. Can’t wait to return!
