Looked nice but there were a lot of small things that made it uncomfortable. No control of the air conditioning, but also no screens in the window. When we opened the window at night, mosquitos got in. The pillows were uncomfortable and the shower leaked. But, the breakfast was good, the location was central and in a nice little neighborhood.

The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early and also with one extra person in our group. They gave us a room with 2 beds to accommodate the extra person for no additional charge. They also helped with directions to various places and arranged a water taxi when we left.

Not much around the property. You have to walk 15 minutes to get to the train station and 30 minutes to get to San Marcos. You have the option to take a taxi but it’s not efficient and can get expensive. It will probably take you longer to get where you want to go.
I stayed here for a wedding and the experience was blah. For the price of the room I was expecting a little more. It was clean, there was running water and a bed...but nothing to write home about...for the price. There are way better places around for a much cheaper price that offer better experience. We only stayed here because it was the location of the wedding, but other guests opted to stay in other hotels nearby and I really wish we would have also. There was no iron, so we asked the front desk if they would steam our clothes for us (as they had for the wedding couple) and they refused to do it for us. So we made the best of the shower steam but were pretty wrinkled nonetheless. Other than that I think they charge so much because of the glass jellyfish art installation in the main lobby, but again, it was underwhelming for me. Oh and there's a fish tank in the lobby too...maybe that adds to the $450 a night price tag. We loved Venice so we'll definitely visit again, but unfortunately will find other accommodations as this hotel fell short when it comes to value and service.
The Hotel Aquarius is in a great Venice area that is not as loud as the tourist zones but is still easily accessible from the train station without needing a water taxi. We tried using the fitness center, but it lacks much equipment. We took advantage of the hotel’s great location and just did more walking. The breakfast was very nice too, and the decor is chic and gorgeous.
Our stay was spectacular in all aspects. Location was ideal in a very friendly square with lots of dining choices and markets nearby. Atmosphere and quality of the hotel, room, breakfast and common areas were delightful. Service from all the staff, especially Charlotte, was wonderful. Easy walking distance to all the highlights we wanted to stay. Recommend this as a five star gem of a boutique hotel.
Beautiful hotel located in a nice and charming piazza in Venice, not too crowded and totally close to the St. Lucia train station and whiting walking distance of Venice main sites. The rooms are super clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast is delicious with amazing choices coffee drinks. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is beautiful and is really close from Venice Santa Lucia train station and is located in a beautiful piazza with nice little restaurants that offer great food and is close enough from the main sites of venice but also away from the buzz and noice of the tourist . The rooms are beautifully decorated as well as the ret of the hotel and they are super comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in a wonderful square. Breakfast staff and housekeeping are fantastic. Advice for first time tourists to Venice: skip the tour to the Murano glass factory.
It was on the doorstep of a square where the locals would do public classical dancing and it felt like the flavour of Venice was embedded into everything around the property. Staff were excellent and the rooms were great.
The lady at the reception was were very helpful in getting us info on how to get to the hotel
Overall great team.
The rooms don’t have eye level windows which can make it a bit claustrophobic
The hotel is beautiful and modern, with lots of local charm. The staff is friendly and helpful. The area is peacefully away from highly crowded tourist areas. All in all a great place to stay in Venice.
The two concierge people that we worked with were so excellent and accommodating. They got us a boat the first night and a boat ride to Murano the second day. A plus service.
