Stayed here for a few nights Nov/Dec with my Husband and two children. This hotel was in the perfect location for us, right by the Rialto Bridge and a few lovely restaurants directly outside, which was ate in and they were perfect. The hotel itself is small when you first go in but staff were lovely and helpful and the room was perfect for us with tv/coffee facilities and a TV with Netflix for when we needed to relax in the night and rest our legs with the kids. It was so easy to get to from the airport, we got a Water Bus from outside the airport (prebooked this but you can also do it on machines in the airport), it took under an hour to get there and the stop is directly opposite the hotel, so you just walk over the bridge and you’re there. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast was the best part. The room was spacious. Beware if you book that they have no elevator. The air conditioner wasn’t functioning, but the heat worked. It got really stuffy in the room but we were able to open the window to help. Due to the lack of elevator I wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked a luxury room with balcony with a view of the Rialto Bridge. However, the hotel only has two rooms like this - one room with green decor, which is featured heavily on the website and a second with Red decor. For the first few nights of our stay we were in the 'red' room. The website description of this class of luxury room is 215ft2, with wardrobe and dressing table. The 'red' room is much smaller perhaps about 120ft2 and just wide enough for you to squeeze past the bed. There is no wardrobe or drawers to store clothes. Whilst the view from the balcony is magnificent, the hotel should not be classing both these rooms together. The red room is adequate with a great view, but certainly not luxury .... even for Venice.

Very close to the Rialto bridge and a 10 minute walk from the main square.. The concierge was helpful. Lots of stairs. No lift. No view. No working AC but the front desk provided a fan.

We loved the Marconi, and will stay there again. The staff was thoughtful, and kind. The hotel has the exact old world charm that you want in Venice. When we had an early departure, the staff provided us with breakfast boxes, since we would miss their onsite breakfast. Be aware that there are stairs, lots of stairs.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Helped us with transportation, private visit to Murano. Lovely breakfast. Steps from Rialto Bridge (that's good and bad.) Which meant lots and lots and lots of tourists. Right in front on the Grand Canal are lots of restaurants for a "touristy" meal. On Saturday night live entertainment playing "Sweet Caroline" !! :-( Our room was large but spare. Totally adequate for the price.

This property is right in the heart of Venice along the Grand Canal. You can't beat the location. The best way to get there is by water taxi. They serve a nice breakfast and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Property location could not have been better!! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I messaged with them several times prior to arrival and they were always responsive. The one thing to be aware of is that the building is very old and has not been updated. It is kept very clean though. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations.

I did not like the fact that there was no elevator and the hotel gave us the 4th floor traveling with an almost 80 year old was not good, she had to stopped on every floor to breath. everything else the front desk was kind and friendly gave us some tips on where to eat with a map.
