Wonderful Hotel Plaza Venice with great staff
The Hotel Plaza Venice is a lovely place. The location is perfect- just in front of the Mestre Train Station; and easy to access from the ATVO Bus Stop. The Hotel is in a strategic location for sight-seeing in Venice or in other parts of Italy- with easy access to the Mestre Train Station. We are very happy for having stayed at the Hotel. The staff are great—particularly Andrea and Giovanni. They are very kind, helpful, and competent. The staff are also prompt in providing responses to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a memorable stay! Breakfast is hearty and had a variety of options- pastries, fruits, coffee, juices, yoghurts, and hot dish of eggs, bacon, and bacon—and served in buffet style. You will not go hungry! The Buffet staff are also very kind and hard-working. The room is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large and very clean too. I highly recommend Hotel Plaza Venice and would stay here again when we visit Venice-and other parts of Italy in the future.

We arrived at least a couple of hours before check-in at 2pm and asked the gentleman if we could leave our luggage. He kindly allowed us to have our room, so were able to set off into Venice early and spend the whole afternoon exploring. The staff were all friendly and the location opposite the train and bus stations is perfect to travel into Venice or to the airport. We paid extra for breakfast and it was well worth it, a wide selection of both hot and cold things to choose from. We Will definitely stay here again if we come to Venice.

What I like about this hotel it's located directly across the street from Venezia Maestre train station. It's 2 stops before Venezia Sta Lucia which is Grand Canal. What I learned in this visit you can actually take Bus 2 located across the street to get to Sta Lucia and from there you can take the ferry to get to St. Mark's Square. The room is clean good size what I don't like breakfast is not included. I think the location is ok but not really a place to walk around. Most people want to visit Sta. Lucia and St. Mark's Square but getting to both places is not bad.

Hotel Plaza Venice is an upscale property with clean and spacious rooms. We booked a 2 King bedroom for 4 adults and the room was large and the bathroom was big with a walk in shower with a hand held shower spray and a large ceiling rain shower head. There was a separate room for the toilet. The beds were medium firm and not rock hard, so that was OK for all of us that like soft beds. There is a restaurant in the property and the train station is across the street. The ride to the Venice island is about 5 minutes after you figure out how to buy a ticket from the machines which is confusing. There are numerous places to eat and shop within walking distance. I would highly recommend this nice hotel.
