Hotel is very close to the public beach. Safe area. Building is dated as 1910, but in the good shape. Breakfast is included, extra $10 for parking stop. Good price, recommended.

Hotel is very close to the public beach. Safe area. We asked for the room with partial ocean view. Breakfast included, extra $10 for parking. Building is dated as 1910, however comfy, clean, nice area for a walk and chill.

The front desk was kind and welcoming when we arrived. The property is in need of an update, which is maybe happening in certain parts. Stairs were mossy and slippery, carpeting was lumpy, beds were very worn out. I was surprised to be charged a $100 per fee for a single weekend co side ring the state of the property - higher end Hilton Properties charge maybe $25 per night so this seemed excessive and the parking in addition too. These fees seemed excessive considering what was delivered to us in terms of comfort and continental breakfast.

We had a great quiet stay at pierpoint inn. We loved seeing the ocean, the sunrise and having the breakfast in the morning. It was surprisingly quiet being so close to the freeway. It was also very close to restaurants in town and some nice surf spots. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Some furniture was very worn down and parts of the property was under construction.

The details on expedia are not what you get, this place is old run and down in need of refurbishment the registration is in a bedroom the hallways look like a prison wall just poor all round and dont bother with the free breakfast it was cold and looked like it had been warmed up from the day before
