We had a great 4 night stay. Breakfast is great with lots of options. Quiet area even though its off the main drag 27th street. Mall is extremely close with a store front starbucks (BONUS). Easy to find and quick checkin. Would stay here again. Did not use pool or the hot tub so no idea what those facilities are like. Room was spacious and clean with new floors and a comfy king sized bed. Would stay there again no problem.

Wear Socks or shoes.

The staff were friendly and courteous. When i checked in i was given a room which was under construction but that was quickly resolved. The room was nice but the floors were very dirty. I padded around barefoot for a short time then noticed how dirty my feet were. Room is all hardwood and i couldn't help but notice the lack of a mop of swiffer or any other floor cleaning device on the attendants cart. Im not a neat freak or ocd but it was kinda gross.

Stayed by the swimming pool. Room reeked like ammonia and bleach. The pool was disgusting and sludgy all around the edges. Really gross.

Bed bugs everywhere I had to throw away a lot of my stuff I did not get reimbursed. I would not recommend Got told the owner was out of the country for 8 months and won’t do anything. Health inspector never came for the place and they kept booking people for rooms.

Heavy currie smell upon evening arrival. Some may find it uncomfortable. AC compressor cycling and not working. Fan so loud it was shut off. Hair dryer had cracked/broken housing creating a heat danger. Room was clean.

Although this is an older property, it is very clean and the rooms are nicely appointed. The bed was nice and comfortable and we didn’t hear any noise from adjacent rooms. We did not use the pool but went into that area to use the ice machine. We did notice that area was quite stuffy and smelled like chlorine but that is expected. The staff are very friendly and accommodating allowing us an early check in as well as a late check out. The breakfast options were quite acceptable and the only criticism that I had was the juice was very watered down.

The shower curtain was mouldy and hadn’t been washed for a while so the next day I took it down and put it with the dirty towels to get a fresh one and I got no shower curtain at all. We used the pull out couch for one night and it was covered in stains and very thin and old. My daughter’s back hurt from the spring in it all night. The tall shelf rattled every time we moved. Very noise area and walls are thin. Would not stay here again and we actually checked out a night early because it was so unclean and because we booked on expidia we had to eat the cost of a bc hotel room on a long weekend. Still worth not staying at this hotel!
