The building itself was too old. In general, it was an okay place to stay for a couple of nights. The breakfast was included but not starting till 7:00 am which was too late for us and we had to leave at 6:45 morning for practice

Rude, hostile front staff & Mgmt. bad attitude. Say one thing to me, after I hear them say the exact opposite on phone to other guests. Dog floor level 1 has stairs and no luggage cart access. “No dog’s allowed” on 3rd floor, except for the other 4 dogs in the hall. They tried to kick me out. “

Easy, central, and charming. I love that breakfast was included and 4 adults could stay in a room without being charged for an extra adult (like other hotels). The room was small, but had all the necessities: mini fridge, coffee machine, tv, and a cute view of the courtyard and the inner harbor. Would stay here again.

I spent Christmas here and rented an Executive Suite with a kitchen and loft bed. The heritage buildings on site were stunning; however, the modern building was much more basic. The location right beside the inner harbour in Victoria is amazing 🌟

Great location, lovely rooms.
This was one of our favourite stays in all of Canada. We had booked the Grand Dorset suite in the week before Christmas and I really can't recommend it highly enough. I'm not sure how nice the other rooms are but this particular one is lovely. Multi storey with beautiful views of the harbour, spacious for a family, full dining table if you'd like to eat in and a great location within easy walking distance of the BC Museum, downtown and Fishermans Wharf. Great breakfast included and there is a coin operated laundry if required as well. The only oddity is the clawfoot bath in full view of the living areas. It did put me off trying it due to the lack of privacy but my husband definitely used it (waiting until everyone else went out). An extra special touch that we loved was the huge Christmas tree that they had set up in our room! This was a favourite and we'd love to return here.

I really liked the convenience of this property, staff was very helpful with request however the kitchen staff/breakfast staff left a bad taste in my mouth especially the older team lead gentleman, he was rude, abrupt and eager to assert his power. I will still stay here all things considered
