Lovely Hotel with Happy Employees
We liked Royal Scot - we were upgraded to a 2 bed efficiency suite (full kitchen). The hotel may seem old by some standards but it was clean, comfortable, and the staff kind and happy. The is no air conditioner however, it was September - open windows and fan was perfect. Walking distance to everything or the front desk will gladly call a cab (which we used a couple times). Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Its within walking distance of all the things and its super cute. It also has a good pool and a nice sozed hot tub. The room came with a dvd player and downstairs in the games room there were dvds you could borrow and board games.

Enjoyed the central location as it provided easy access to downtown and attractions (whale tour and museum). We appreciated the shuttle service and complimentary coffee in the morning. Only thing we missed was not having a balcony as part of our suite. It’s a very busy hotel but it didn’t bother us as we love meeting people from all over the world.

This is a nice hotel but is dated (early 90s) and the staff were not terribly helpful. The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely!! Very minimal service for what you pay and everything is at an additional cost (ie $20 a night to park your car). Restaurant only offers breakfast and lunch and no room service that I could see. For a comparable price, I could've gone to another hotel and gotten more.

Everything you could possibly need for a getaway, pool/hot tub was lovely , games room , shuffleboard& pool table, convenient location to walk to shop or dine. The area felt very safe walking at night
