Very walkable to downtown, quiet neighborhood. If u want to use bbq or fire pits on 10th floor u have to pay for them. Should be included like every other hotel I’ve been to.

We had a wonderful stay at the Parkside. The furniture was a bit scratched and marked. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with no door on the bathroom which may the stay more interesting. :) Mom loved the fish in the pond in the lobby.

Perfect Location and Great Amenities
We enjoyed this hotel for its location and condo-style rooms. The corner park-view room was lovely and clean. We were able to take our dog over to the park every day. Having the ability to do laundry was a plus, and having a good sized refrigerator. The balcony was enjoyable. The parking garage under the hotel was easy to access. Staff were friendly. The restaurant on-site was convenient. The only negative was that there is no adjustable A/C. Fans are provided but on the hottest of days in August it was still hard to get the bedroom cool at night. I would stay again so long as temps above 80 are not forecasted.

The place had a great vibe. The lobby had really nice Koi water pool and plenty of sunshine and comfortable chairs. There was a reasonably nice cafe in the lobby that had good breakfast, brunch and lunch options though dinner fare was limited. There was a great rooftop sitting areas which is great for reading and relaxing. The pool and spa were out of this world. Great, large, indoor pool and very hot indoor jacuzzi. The indoor gym was also great with a good Smith-like free weight bench. Rooms were huge, maid service great, kitchenettes nicely stocked with plates, soap, towels, etc. The ONLY negative was they have those all-in-one washer dryers which never really get your clothes dry. They use steam to "dry" and your clothes are always damp coming out of them. This, and the lack of where to hang your clothes to dry was always a problem. I used the nice balcony furniture to hang my clothes. Regardless, everything else about this place says I'll be back, gladly.

The hotel room did not have air conditioning and instead there were instructions left to open windows and use fans to cool down the room. We stayed in August during the summer and our stay was not enjoyable. The hot tub was also out of service. We would not stay here again.
