Small but perfectly situated in the centre

Pros: Convenient to all attractions. Clean, comfortable rooms. Shower power was wonderful.
Cons: Bathroom tiny but adequate.
Location: Everything is convenient and close.
Pre Booked with Ebookers. Excellent value. Within easy reach of all the main attractions. Quiet surroundings and very presentable room. No problem printing departure flight tickets and plenty of good advice from the staff. Did not eat breakfast as there were cheaper alternatives in the centre.

FAB location for this historic & warming hotel

Pros: LOCATION
Cons: tea making facilities in room sort out the cold water tap in the toilet room, very cold on foot. Handrail on the bath, could easily slip
Location: Superb location, all museums, riding school within a five minute walk.
We stayed at this lovely hotel in early March 18, a fab location, ideal for all the museums & Riding School. Our room was spacious, clean and welcoming, the only negative was the small room where the toilet was no hot water tap or carpet on floor so very cold, but room itself lovely & warm. Very nice breakfast (help yourself). No resturant on site but several very nice places to go within a few minutes walk. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free tea/coffee in reception which we make good use of as we visited whilst the city was extremely cold. The hotel has a long history, but has retained many of its old features, so anyone interested in historic buildings will love the ornate ceilings and lighting. But we could not of done better in a superb city location.

Perfect location in the very center of Vienna.

Pros: Its very central location, the helpful staff and a very substantial breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom was rather small.
Location: As I mentioned above the location was the very best.
The Pertschy Hotel was perfect for us, very close to the Hofburg Palace, the Graben and Stephansdom Cathedral and other tourist attractions. My husband has reduced mobility but the central location of the hotel made our stay most enjoyable.

Superb location

Whilst a pretty basic hotel, the staff were excellent, the breakfast very enjoyable, but the location makes this hotel. Fot a short trip to Vienna, it's perfect location between the Hofburg palace and St Stephen's Cathedral makes it an ideal base to explore this beautiful city.

Great location and good hotel

The rooms were clean and nice. However, we were first given a very small room with two beds. Only after I asked for a room with a double-bed, we were given a room with a couch and a little table. They said it was noisy, but it was just right onto Habsburgergasse, where there is an occasional horse-carriage passing by (cars are not allowed, except cabs). Breakfast buffet was decent, bread, butter, and jam, scrambled eggs and Wieners, etc. But not huge. There were no decent newspapers available and it only started at 7am (which was fine for me, but for business travellers or if you have an early flight, this might not be good enough). Wi-Fi was pretty bad. Hardly any reception on cellphones (not only in room, but also in breakfast area) slow and sometimes unsteady reception on tablets. Staff was very friendly, they have a Mac to print Boarding passes etc., a coffee maker in the lobby.

Noisy but in a great city position

Ideal position for seeing the city but it was very noisy and the staff weren't that helpful with directions and booking tours etc.
