This is the second time staying here in week. This is the best hotel in Vientiane, Laos. Incredible staff, service, rooms, food, location, what else? Everything just perfect here. All of the staff is so friendly & accommodating. I was very relaxed and comfortable here. Slept good, ate good, was very happy.
Great hotel in Vientiane. Great staff and service. Rooms are very nice. Pool is good, breakfast is wonderful. Great location. This really is a great hotel in Laos. I highly recommend it. The workers are so nice and welcoming and that makes a big difference. I will stay 1 extra night here because it's so good.
Wonderful staff who calmed, comforted and catered to this tired, sick traveler. Went above and beyond, always available and very much appreciated

Disliked: Amenities
The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was very small and basic however it was cleaned and replenished with tea, coffee and bottled water every day. It did smell a little of drains and mould although nothing was visible. I don't think it was value for money as on closer inspection of the arear there was better on offer for the same or less money
The hotel is centrally located. There are resteraunts and coffee shps in close walking distance. The court yard and pool are well maintained and the staff is eagar to assist. The wifi is consistant and rooms are clean and comfotrable. Stay near the pool in new side of building if your able as the rooms are a bit nicer.

Ok
I’d say it was ok,good value. I liked the courtyard & although the pool was small,it was a blessing in such heat. The room was small, but ok
I keep using the word ok & that probably sums it up

The pictures were much better than the real thing. Pool was not in best condition and room was aged but the a/c worked. Staff was great and very helpful.

Basically does the job for sleeping and showering. Little run down. No elevator. Pictures are real but exaggerated using angles; everything was a lot more cramped then seamed and dirty outside rooms. Small breakfast choice but tasted ok. This is an subjective review, this place is fine if your not too picky on the bells and whistles. The location is great.

The first room we were given was dirty and not acceptable.Next day we were given a better room but there were still things that could be improved on.The only socket was right under a table.Curtains were hanging off the rail.Room full of mosquitos.

Adequate but only just
Room ok, pool disgusting. Maid cleaned pool tiles with scrubber and washing up liquid. Pumps never switched on so water always murky.

Must have been here now over 7 times and each time it appears less maintained. The courtyard is still awesome to work from if you manage to get the mosquito away from you. Pool does not seem filtered at times and the breakfast has really gone down.
Staff just as friendly as always
Do not stay here. Management is reactive vice proactive and has not maintained the property. Wifi was intermittent. It is not possible to charge your electronics when you are not in the room. Nothing is done tp prepare the room for your arrival such as turning on the refrigerator. This could be such a great property but sadly is not living up to its potential.
In check in despite booking and paying for a deluxe double with balcony and garden view, I was shown to a standard room. After questioning it (and being told no deluxe rooms were available) I was then shown to another room which apparently was a deluxe. No balcony as ground (first) floor and a view of a wall! Nevertheless it was adequate. Nice pool area with chairs to sunbathe in - also had a small bar so looks a nice place to sit as sun was going down. Breakfast was pretty reasonable with eggs, fruit as well as more traditional Lao fare. Coffee machine with beans but kept on breaking. Staff did try to help as much as they could and most spoke some English with a smile. I’d be happy to stay again for the £24 I paid.
Definitely not a 40 dollar room, more like 10.
Complained but fell on deaf ears.
Checked out 2 days early after only 1 night
