When we arrived at 5pm there was no staff to help with checking in. The room is large with a plenty of space to store things. However the bathroom is super tiny with no place to hang or place toiletries. Breakfast was one of the better ones while traveling in Iceland. Personally I think that for the price we paid there must be better options. Location is good, just off the main road.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is such that there is little light pollution so you can see the northern lights better.

Very good breakfast with good options and a beautiful view. Youll have to drive into the town of Vik if you want to shop etc. But it was very nice to be away from the hustle & bustle that is Vik.

The best place to stay in south Iceland! The staff is super kind adn the rooms are very spacious. We were able to see the northern lights due to location. Totally recommend it!

It was a fair way out of VIK for dining options and the restaurant wasn’t open due to staff issues, I believe. Otherwise room was excellent and comfortable and quiet.

I saw the northern lights! The area was amazing. There was a few things that need to be worked on like the drain, the TV didn’t work and there was no heat. But a beautiful location!

The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but there is no refrigerator. For land tourists a refrigerator is a priority.

Isolate location but that was already known when I booked it. Large room with a good view as well as a good size bathroom. Second day there was no electricity for the whole night and day which means no Internet, TV and lights to even read in the dark. It also limit the breakfast items served the next morning. Not sure if we will get a rebate for this. Not sure if there give us a rebate for this

Solid choice with great breakfast!
Straight forward and clean hotel by the side of the road. Friendly staff, will provide you with a door code via email if you arrive late, so keeping you flexible in your travels. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel back unto a hill, so the rooms with the even numbers get the view of the planes and ocean (and possibly northern lights), whereas the uneven numbers (incl. my room) get just the incline of the hill right outside the window. Access to the hotel is a 1km gravel road, which is also something to consider in case you are driving a compact rental. The breakfast at this hotel was very good with choices beyond the basics by including things like salmon. Overall a great place to stay & exactly what I was hoping for
