Luoja Koiratalo, Monkey Business ja sen läpi kulkeva joki vievät vieressä olevan metsän läpi Paratiisin Löydetyn.

Wataugan joki alkaa 60 kilometrin matkan isoisän vuoren pohjoisrannikolla ja virtaa yleensä pohjoiseen ja länteen Watauga-järveen Pohjois-Carolina-Tennesseen rajalla. Sana "Watauga" on peräisin Cherokee-sanasta "Watagi", joka tarkoittaa "kauniita vesiä" tai "kuiskaavia vesiä". Tämä dynaaminen rantavyöhyke on itse asiassa monien kalalajikkeiden, lintujen ja eläinten siirtymäkäytävä ja sillä on merkittävä merkitys
biologisen monimuotoisuuden säilyttämisessä.

Hyvällä säällä voit tutustua jokeen tai kokeilla onneasi erilaisten taimenen, kuten puron, ruskean tai sateenkaaren, pyydystyksessä. Tämä Watauga-joen osa on nyt yksityisesti varusteltu ja poikkeuksellinen perhokalastukseen! Kaikki kalastus on yksittäinen keinotekoinen viehe, vain kiinni ja vapauta. Elävät tai tuoksuvat syötit eivät ole sallittuja. Perhokalastusoppaat ovat saatavilla pyynnöstä. Sateessa joki nousee ja kajakkeja tulevat ampumaan kosket.

Löytyi paratiisi ja joki kulkee On kaksi hirsimökkiä, jotka koostuvat 2. 75 hehtaarin kompleksista, jossa Watauga-joki kulkee kiinteistön keskellä. Molemmat mökit on rakennettu Washingtonin osavaltiosta käsin käärittynä ja Wataugan maakunnan mäntypaneelit. Pääsy kiinteistöön on puiden reunustama soratie, joka oli aikoinaan osa Länsi-Pohjois-Carolina-Itä-Tennesseen rautatien rautatiealusta.

Paradise Foundin katedraalin mänty-katto ja kattoikkunat luovat tilavan lämpimän tunteen kävellessäsi. Päätasolla on tammilattiat, puulämmitteinen takka, Bose-viihdejärjestelmä, hyvin varustettu keittiö ja upeat näkymät joelle. Löydät myös suuren makuuhuoneen, jossa on käsin kääritty hemlock-palkkikatto, king-size-vuode, taulutelevisio ja kylpyamme. Täm�� mökki on varustettu hienoilla alkuperäisillä taideteoksilla, antiikkia ja vanhoja valokuvia.

Kävele seulotulle kuistille ja koe satoja jalkoja vesiputouksia, lohkareita ja uima-altaita. Nauti ainutlaatuisesta Riverfront-ruokailusta graniittipöydässä, jossa on neljä tuolia tai rentoutua oleskelualueella tai Hot Springs-kylpylässä. Kuisti avautuu suurelle kannelle, jossa on laaja näköala joelle, piknik-pöytä ja kaasugrilli.

Molemmat mökit sijaitsevat kätevästi lähellä tärkeintä valtimoa, joka yhdistää Avery Countyin laskettelurinteitä poikkeuksellisiin Foscoen antiikkiliikkeisiin ja Valle Crucisin rikkaaseen historiaan ja Boone ja Blowing Rock -ravintolaan. Lähistöllä on myös useita valkovesi- ja kalastusoppaita.

Peace by the river

Two seniors and a small dog. Very peaceful. There is a road on the other side of the river. That wouldn't be visible in the summer when the trees are fully leafed out. Upscale appliances and decor. Very comfortable.

Weekend away

The property was great for a little weekend getaway. Its less than 10 minutes away from Boone. It has a screened in porch with a hot tub and a wonderful view of the river. Its a very private neighborhood wih a one lane gravel drive in. The house is clean and spacious for two people. All in all it was a great stay for us and the dog!

We really loved the location and the place itself. Our only issue was that we couldn't seem to get away from the dog fur. It was on the clean towels, on the bathroom counter, end tables, and even ended up in our food.

Cozy and beautiful mountain retreat on the river

We had a lovely visit at "Paradise Found!" It was a great location, private but near great amenities. The river was a wonderful back drop to our weekend and the pups had a great time. The interior of the cabin is beautiful exposed wood and rustic cabin touches! The updates are impressive and include a modern kitchen and updated bathrooms. The fireplace is cozy and the back porch is a great place to sit and relax! We will definitely be back as time allows! Every season would bring something new to enjoy!

From the time we made our reservation until the day we checked out, everything was made simple by constant correspondence via email on everything that we needed to do.The house was exactly the way it looked in pictures and in many ways even better. The kitchen had all stainless appliances with brand new dishes. The master bedroom and bath were fully equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, tile shower and even a brand new stackable washer dryer.There was a hot tub on the screen porch set up and ready to go with a view of a flowing river to watch and listen to as you enjoyed the hot tub.This cabin was perfect for a couple and was very convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock.We were blessed with snow from the time we arrived until the time we left, we will definitely go back!

Anniversary weekend getaway

Enjoyed our stay secluded and close to lots of shops/restaurants. Would have liked the hot tub to be bigger and have jets on both sides. It was nice to have a washer dryer so I didn’t have to go home to wash a bunch of dirty laundry. Thanks for a great weekend.

Gorgeous weekend

Great visit

Came to Boone on a short fly fishing trip. Didnt catch any at property but we fished successfully at surrounding waters. Very comfortable.

Watauga River Cabin

Great location just outside Boone, albeit just across the river from a very busy road. The rapid in front of the cabin drowns out the road noise, though. In Spring or Summer, the leaves on the trees likely block the view of the road. Cabin is nice and roomy for two. The kitchen and bathroom are updated. We had rain during most of our stay but enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch while listening to the roar of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Christmas Vacation

The cabin was cute perfect size for 2 people. Bed was comfy, kitchen was great , and bathroom was huge. Plenty of closet space also. The screened in back porch was nice . The hot tub could be bigger and roomier. Personally I think there is too much furniture on back porch with a table, 4 chairs , two rockers, and a sofa with table , all that and the hot tub is just way too much. The outside deck area is very nice lots of space , sad that the lights on railing would not work though. The road to it was fine to drive , but be aware it is close to a main road and you can here traffic, but if your okay with that great. It is in a good location to travel to several close towns. Now on a down side …. Sorry….. there were mice poison out around the house and we brought our two little dogs because it is a pet friendly cabin. There was also mice droppings in bottom draw of oven and the oven was not cleaned when we arrived it was filthy dirty inside. Also something got into some of our Bread on counter , assuming it was mice. The bathroom rugs were dirty and had to be washed also. Who ever is the cleaning company needs to remember to clean under things good also. I understand it’s a cabin but cleanliness should not be a problem especially when you’re paying good money.

Thanksgiving retreat

We loved the design of the cabin and how peaceful it was. There was a little road noise across the stream but we didn’t mind since we were also close to town. Loved the experience and we plan to return.

Perfect couples retreat!!

Amazing little cabin tucked far enough away to feel private and secluded but only a short drive from town. Paradise found cabin is perfect for a couple’s getaway! Very cozy and rustic with all the amenities of home! We really enjoyed the fireplace and screened in porch with hot tub overlooking the water! 10/10 recommend this place!

The cabin was nice, the location was a little hard to get into and out of with a F250 pickup. Our first night we had and issue with a rat that had enjoyed some of our food. I would suggest maybe some curtains in the bathroom, I was not very excited about that. The creek being outside the cabin was really nice.

Near Perfect

The cabin is great. Perfect for 2 and we had our 2 small dogs. The back enclosed deck and the side deck that has a swinging gate keep dogs safe and entertained. Only a couple of small glitches. First the "hidden" key was hidden. Thought it would be by front door but it's actually mounted on a wooden rail near front door close to front steps. The second was that the info book gives the password but not network name but we guessed right. Blueridge management was very responsive but I'm always more comfortable being able to talk to owner that knows more about property. I had to ask 3 times about the condition of the drive to the property worried that our low-riding Audi might have a problem. The drive into the property is along a ledge road and one lane so if a car comes the opposite direction you need to find some area where one car can pull over to so the other can pass. The actual driveway to the cabin is fairly steep downhill and can't turn around so you have to back out and manuveur a turn around. We found that by backing out then continuing straight until we could turn around in another cabin's drive was safest. The river with beautiful rocks and rushing water was amazing. There are steps that lead down to rocks and pretty easy to get onto rocks for up close and personal on the water. The cabin is equipped with great appliances and enough utensils and good knifes. One concern, for a child, the dishwasher will tip forward if top shelf is pulled out.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is amazing and the river view is unbelievable. We spend a week here to celebrate our 31st anniversary and to get away from everything and recoup. We did just that! We will surly be back to rent this cabin again… PS: The road to the cabin was not bad at all as stated in some other reviews. I watched small cars and BMW’s drive up and down that road all week with no issues. Smooth gravel road that is well maintained.

Beautiful Hidden Gem on the river

The cabin was beautiful and well updated. The view of the river was amazing. The road leading to the cabin is a disaster. This made it very tough to get in and out of the driveway.

Paradise Found

Beautiful cozy cabin right next to the Watauga river. Kitchen newly upgraded. The view from the cabin looking out at the river below is amazing. Love the jacuzzi. The kitchen needs cooking utensils, butcher block with cooking knives. Nothing to cut vegetables with or cut/carve meat with. Love that new fridge. Water not turned on at control valve to the ice maker. ?? Shower control is governed for a slight warm shower. Simple fix by adjusting the anti-scold fitting inside control knob. Everyone likes a hot shower. Shower curtain rod kept falling down. Again another simple fix, the spring loaded adjustable rod not holding up. I suggest a curtain rod that is resting onto secured shower wall fittings. Overall, I LOVE this cabin !!
