Sweet spot in Chics beach
Great rental close to beach and restaurants in Chics Beach. Quiet neighborhood. Clean & well equipped. Perfect for 2 couples. Loved the outdoor patio and hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, the property was great. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Kinda disappointed that the beach had up caution signs for unclean water but that was not your fault. Need to fix the patio furniture and the chairs in the living room. Otherwise, great place. Thank you

Everything as advertised: Location to beach, rooms, outdoor space, etc. Only issues we had was the grill was dirty and propane was empty and the hot tub needed a cleaning-- so we couldn't use them :(. Even with those 2 issues, we look forward to staying here again

Overall, the property and location met expectations. It’s super close to the beach and located in a more residential neighborhood, which we preferred. It had all the amenities of home. The only concern we had was its cleanliness. The floors were really dirty and the hot tub was green and full of dirt and sand..

Nice Beach House for Family of 4
We chose this rental for a family beach vacation for my wife's birthday. It is about 3-4 blocks or 10 minutes walk to the beach through a cute beach neighborhood. The inside of the home was very clean.

Great location for the win
We came in from DC to visit with family in the area. Pros: The neighborhood was very walkable and was the perfect distance from the beach. The beach itself was wonderful and more suitable for younger kids than by the boardwalk. I loved that it was pet friendly - each morning our pup and I walked along the water before the beach got busy - and the outdoor shower was great for a quick clean off. Appreciated that everything was within a 15 minute driving distance, and there was a great little convenience store across the street. We never heard a peep out of the neighbors, so the sound proofing of the house was spot on. Finally, we were appreciative of the beach towels and the three beach chairs that were available- unfortunately the fourth chair was broken beyond use. Cons: We didn’t receive instructions for how to access the house in advance - I had to text when we arrived to get the code. While I understand the hot tub isn’t something that can be cleaned after every guest, we chose to not use it as it quite a bit of grime coating the water and loads of sand at the bottom. We found a few bugs that had been missed by the cleaners along the base of the balcony door. And the biggest issue was that there weren’t paper products provided, so we had to go get paper towels and ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom. Overall the pros far outweighed the cons, and we will certainly consider this location again for future family vacations.

Returning to VB
We returned to VB, where we had lived for 20 years, and knew the neighborhood well. This was a cute little bungalow and had everything we needed. Would rent again!
