Very nice stay! And a short drive to the shopping area in taupo as well as the falls and craters of the moon. The floors where creaky and noisy though, and there was only two guest accessible washing machines for the entire compound, which where both confusing to locate and constantly in use. Very nice staff though, even security!

What a lovely serene place to stay! The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Highlight would be the service and food at the Geyser Bar - Food was top notch and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend. Facilities were great as well with the heated pool being a definite bonus.

Been to this resort few times previously, but it’s about time the management invested in upgrading the rooms. Our stay was uncomfortable. The room itself was outdated. Bed was in a bad state. The mattress is way outdated and needs replacement. It’s actually a health and safety issue with no springs left at the end of mattress and not safe with kids around.

They say that you get what you pay for, and in this was true. We booked an economy king room and were checked into room 414, in the '400 wing'. Although the bedding and towels were clean, the carpet was stained, the bathtub was badly worn and it felt like it hadn't been refurbished since the 1960s. To top it all, breakfast was offered at $48 per person! I'm sure people go for the outdoor spa pools, but we wouldn't recommend it for a single overnight stay.

Great facilities...the pools etc were fantastic after a long day at football. It was quiet and heaps of parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay and we have already booked to go back again next year.

Pool was excellent. In room cooking options eg microwave or toaster would have been nice. Room interior was dated but spacious and comfortable. We did find rubbish in a drawer from previous guest but not a concern. Restaurant was pricey so didn't try it. Would definitely stay again, great location and very relaxing.
