Dear John, Thank you for your time on the telephone yesterday. Once again I am truly sorry that you were unable to check in straight away as there was no record of your booking. As explained, this booking did not reach us through the ebookers service, but I am pleased we were able to rectify the situation. I do hope we can welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards Gillian Douglas General Manager

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback and good rating. We do hope to welcome you again in the future. Although the hotel is tired in parts we have completed extensive work which includes soft refurbishment of 39 rooms and all our public areas with more works pending. Good hotel - excellent staff

Pros: The staff were so helpful and so friendly; they went completely out of their way to help us out and made us all feel so welcome.
Cons: The hotel in general needs a good clean & a lick of paint; it is starting to look tired. This didn't impact on our stay & we will use the hotel again
Location: Easy to get to - just a couple of miles off the M1. Plenty of parking.
We stayed at the Campanile in Wakefield for one night and have no complaints about our stay. The room was fine, clean and relatively comfortable. In all honesty, you get what you pay for and for £38 per night you won't do much better. Breakfast was lovely - hot & fresh.

Budget motel

It does a good job for the market its there for. Basically people in the area for work and need a reasonable place to crash that's not too expensive. The rooms are basic - a bit dated and not spotlessly clean. The onsite bar and restaurant is ok but there are better options nearby. Can't really argue at the price but if you're not on a budget I would avoid.
