Couldn’t have a meal.
I wasn’t expecting not to be able to eat at the restaurant as a solo traveller, no attempt to find a space was disappointing so had to drive out to find somewhere else. Monday night at 7:30pm? The lady on reception was lovely and the room small but ok, just not being able to eat was my main gripe.

Unfortunately it took 20 minutes to find someone to staff reception and there was then a problem with our booking. But everyone we spoke to was pleasant and helpful and managed to find different rooms for us to use on the 2 nights we stayed, it also appears that the "error" was on the part of Expedia (who we used to make the booking) not passing the correct information to the property

I stay here regularly for work purposes and it is an excellent base for surrounding area Rooms are clean and nicely decorated and furnished Staff always been helpful and friendly Plenty of parking and always an option for good food at the pub Would thoroughly recommend
