Welcome to our peaceful waterfront river cottage nestled along the banks of the scenic Walhonding River! This charming cottage offers breathtaking views of the water and surrounding natural beauty, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax.

With private dock access, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the river, whether you're fishing, tubing, kayaking, or canoeing. And when you're ready to explore the area, you'll find easy access to Amish country, Woodbury Wildlife Area, Three Rivers Wine Trail, and Historic Roscoe Village, both of which offer a rich blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Inside, our cozy cottage features comfortable furnishings and all the amenities you need to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and space to relax and unwind. Awesome Winter Weekend Getaway

Justin was great to work with. Using hot tub in January was awesome. Comfortable master bedroom. Enjoyed the firepit and we are already planning a summer visit to really take advantage of the outdoor setting. Roscoe Village was a nice visit as was the Gospel Hill Lighthouse. This place is a great getaway for a couple.

Peace by the river

Wanted to get away from all the Hussle and Bussle of Thanksgiving. This river house was all we expected. Quiet, cozy and just right for us. Very clean and organized. Owners were awesome and responded to our needs. Hot tub was refreshing.

Great relaxing short trip

MOM'S WEEKEND AWAY

Out-of-the-way Vacation

Property is remote take everything you will think you may need and more. Traveling in the dark to and from the property will be challenging no lighting and dirt and gravel roads. Great experience if you have never been out the city.

5 Stars - Perfect Birthday Getaway!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday at this charming cottage with a group of friends, and it was truly a memorable experience! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home. We were thrilled with the river access, which provided stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was the outdoor screened-in gazebo – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air without any bugs bothering us. The fire pit was an excellent addition, allowing us to gather around in the evenings, share stories, and roast marshmallows. The hot tub was a luxurious touch that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage was extremely well-equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. We only had to bring food, as everything else was provided, making our stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. The only minor issue we encountered was the presence of sweat bees, but this was beyond the owner's control and did not detract from our wonderful experience. I highly recommend this rental home for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat. It was the perfect setting for a milestone celebration, and I would love to return in the future!

Relaxing experience

We wanted to get the kids out to enjoy some nature without overwhelming the ypungest foe her first trip. The location delivered and was exactly what they needed. The property was clean, Justin was very responsive to any questions and there isn't a bad word that we could say about our experience.

Relaxing Getaway

The cottage was clean and perfect for a relaxing getaway for us and our pup! The property was peaceful and well maintained. Even on a gloomy day, we were still able to catch fish, enjoy the river, grill, and have a bonfire. Can't wait to return in the future!

We loved the cottage, the location and the time together. The owner's were great to work with and you can tell they put a lot of time and effort in to making this cottage cozy and comfortable. Outside amenities were inviting, books, games , tv, WiFi, Fully stocked with kitchen tools, products, decorated with a flair for down to earth, warmth. Hot tub was nice and private, easy to get to. Plenty of towels and bedding supplies. Will go back.
