I booked this location to be close to the restaurant where I was hosting a business dinner. The hotel is nice, but the rooms are basic. There is construction work being done on the hotel so it was very noisy during the day and the hotel did not indicate this in their website. Front desk staff was ok. I had a box delivered with some of the materials I needed for the business dinner. One staff person checked briefly for it in the back the told me they didn’t have it, even after I showed her the delivery confirmation. She gave me the “oh well” shrug and tried to dismiss me. Thankfully another staff person took time to look for it and retrieved my item but it took about 15 minutes.

There was an accident in front of the hotel which prohibited guests from valet parking and the hotel does not offer any other type of parking like a lot or street. It took me over an hour to finally have valet come to my car around the corner and park it for 60 dollars! This fee should have been waived

It’s a good hotel, but not great service. They had one elevator set all weekend only to go to the top floor for an event the previous Friday. Nobody cared to reset it and when we left Monday, it was still that way leaving only one working elevator our three days for all guests. It was Marine Corp Marathon weekend and there was a huge concert so it was far too busy for only the one remaining elevator. They also never cleaned our room, even after we returned at 4pm and asked when they would. If you want a clean hotel in a great location and don’t care as much about customer service, this one is good for that purpose.

I appreciated the attention to detail and the presentation of our room when we walked in. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I loved the bathroom (shower) and I also enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood and finding great little places to eat at or grab coffee.
