Right next to Nationals Park, and with bikeshare docks within short walking distance, this property is in the fun, hopping neighborhood of Navy Yard. Super easy access to other parts of DC, via Metro or bike. Staff was terrific: friendly and helpful. The hotel feels new, clean, and was just what we needed. Great value for the price.

For some reason they put us on their pet friendly floor (2). The only reason we knew was hearing the barking and confirming with the front desk. Unless someone requests for one, those should be the last rooms you put people in. They don’t know if we have allergies. They offered to move us but we didn’t have an issue with the barking so we stayed. Room 217 has a flood light pointed directly at the window. There’s a blackout shade thankfully but we paid over $900 for two nights. Who were they saving the better rooms for? Room size was good. Room was comfortable. The floors aren’t carpeted so you hear your neighbors dropping things etc. Elevators worked well. Ice is only on floors 4 and 7. Enjoyed our stay but desk should have asked us if we were ok being on the pet floor.
