This property was not a good value. It is a very old property with almost no amenities for a luxury hotel price. More like a $59 motel 6 than a $300 room. Room wasnt vacuumed and there were stains on the rug around the bed. Shower drain clogged. Remote didn’t work. Dresser broken and drawer kept sliding out. It is in a good location and was quiet but that’s all it had going for it.

The elevator on this property is old and it gives the sensation that it can get stuck at any moment (it kind of did for a couple of seconds). It’s scary. Other than that, everything else was pretty normal/average. We stay there for 2 nights with 3 kids. I liked the breakfast and the ice machine. My oldest son liked the sofa bed. The TV did not really work but we were there mostly to rest at night, not to watch TV. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. Easy check in and out. The rooms seemed clean, but my son saw/found cooking underneath the bed. Overall and for the price, a good experience. I would stay here again.

Underwhelming
Underwhelmed with the property, staff responsiveness, amenities, condition and overall disrepair of the hotel. This is my third stay at a Comfort Inn. All of them were barely satisfactory. If this is the best that Choice Hotels has to offer, in the future I'll stay anywhere but Choice. And for those of you who read the Google reviews about this hotel, make sure you balance that with the Yelp ones.

There was only one functioning elevator. I was trapped two times in the elevator because the elevator door wouldn’t open. Another time the whole elevator shook violently before opening. The stairs could not be used because the stairwell doors were locked. I had used the alarm button and phone in the elevator but got no response. The front desk told me that it had been fixed. Not reality!!!

The hotel was on the corner of a busy street so there was noise from passing cars. Also, there were some people in the parking area that looked a little sketchy - loud profanity on their cell phone, playing loud music from their car that kind of thing. But the room was clean and we had no issues. Breakfast options were great. Overall satsified.

I stayed here for two nights to go to meetings in the Ballston metro stop area. The location was convenient and I could easily walk there from Ballston stop. The rooms and interior are a bit dated but very clean and the beds, bed linens and towels were all in really good shape.

Even though it's a non-smoking hotel, there was a strong odor of smoke in the first room I was assigned. The staff was very accommodating and moved me to another one at 11:30 pm. The second room was better, but there was still a faint smell. Everything else was wonderful. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and hotel was clean.
