The service at the front desk and restaurant was very friendly and attentive. Geo treated us as special guests and had many helpful suggestions for our stay. Souraine provided good restaurant service and is an interesting conversationalist. Our only complaint is that the room remained cold because the heating unit could ver reach our setting of 72 and the hvac unit was very noisy.

Stay somewhere cheaper, this isn’t worth it.
This hotel does NOT have an EV charger. Not only do they not have access to one, they don’t even know where one might be! After a bit of research, they suggested I (a single parent with two small kids on a 28• night) park my car a 10 minute walk away and drag my kids through an unknown neighborhood on a freezing night. There were no apologies for the false advertising on the EV charger, even though I was clear that that was the only reason I was staying there. The hotel is beautiful, though our bathroom could have used a deep clean, but the stay was weird. There was a shirtless guy just lounging in the lobby. Quite a juxtaposition with the pretty atmosphere, and a different gentleman sat in our hallway until late at night FaceTiming on his phone. Also, our room was HOT. I set the thermostat to 62, but woke up multiple times at night feeling like I couldn’t breathe because the room would not cool down.

Great location close to the Metro blue line. Wonderful staff. Comfortable lobby line with books. Only one negative: the “historic hotel preservation fee” is high and seems rather arbitrarily set by the hotel itself.

This is a very nice hotel, it has very nice hotel lobby and a restaurant. Good size room, the heater works but the hot water in the shower doesn’t really get hot. bed is ok but the pillows are terrible very uncomfortable because they are high and hard really hurt my neck. The location is good enough, 15 minutes ish to George Town, 10mins ish to subway, otherwise nothing else is close by.

Hotel a little down at heels, and while close to great neighborhoods, is situated on a busy, charmless street. Bar is right inside front door, too bright, no atmosphere. Rooms need a facelift and a good scrub. Meh.
